Quoting from another post.

A suggestion for easier to understand posting.

This function is designed specifically for discussion forums when quoting another poster.

The purpose is to provide a visual shortcut to help readers differentiate between what is being quoted from a different member’s previous post - vs - what is being stated by the current poster.

Simply highlight the text and click the quote button ("). If need to undo it, simply re-click the quote button (") again.

Because the function isn't that great....just a faded bar on the side, not so good.

Thanks steakster, great feature and one I use often.

There's a lot lacking with the functionality of this site,

For sure. But what is your point? Stamp your feet like a child refusing to play with the toys you have because you didn't get the big Tonka truck that you wanted?

So add in the name of the poster. How hard could it be, russ69?

I'm not sure why you can't see that the font is different and the quote is indented? This is standard writing procedure.
