Truly a sad loss and part of the pioneers of progressive/psychedelic/symphonic rock. Great classic rock piano/organ player singer composer. As in their second and my favorite release may his spirit and music Shine on Brightly.
I saw them back in the day, recall them being true musicians, I could see the classical training in their playing. They had far more great material than just Whiter Shad of Pale, many good memories tied to their music. RIP
Yes, this was a bad week, with Gary Brooker, Mark Lanegan, and Dallas Good from the Sadies.... And it will keep getting worse as time rolls on.... Procol Harum was always one of my favorite bands....
