If you have decent electricity coming into your house, an inexpensive unit is not going to do much, if anything at all, unless you just want a surge protector, which opens up another can of worms.

My recommendation: save up for an Inakustik 3500.

An Audioquest Niagra 1000 would be my recommendation. You can usually find one used around $700.

Millercarbon, your answer certainly addresses in system connection issues, but not power isdues
Au contraire, mon frere!Anyway, what does it matter? Assuming of course you're doing this to get better sound, this will get you much better sound than any $300, or two or three times $300, will get you in a power conditioner. Now if the goal is to buy a power conditioner, then you are right, that it will not help you with.So what is it you are trying to accomplish then? Buy more stuff? Or get better sound?

Don't know your budget, but $300 will get you enough Total Contact to coat your Power Block and everything else in your system to beyond anything you will ever get from a power conditioner, certainly without spending several times that amount of money.
Then some time later on this year Krissy will be coming out with an in-line conditioner. If its anything like all the other Perfect Path Solutions stuff it will be worth the wait.
But for now Total Contact is the way to go.
