Olivia Newton John Passes at age 73

Really liked her early country based music, I too had crush. Animal, environmental and breast cancer activist, what's not to like!

Not surprised she was quick witted, check out her family, father code breaker for British intelligence, grandfather nobel prize winning physicist.

She had some wonderful songs - RIP O N-J....

I met her in 1983 when she opened a clothing shop a few blocks from where I lived (helped me pick out sweaters for a couple of little girls - friends kids).

She asked me what colors they liked and I said "I really don't pay much attention to clothing" - she looked me up and down, smiled and nodded her head.

We then went over their hair/eye/skin color and size (the girls loved the sweaters).

Very nice and quick witted lady.

It sounds like she had a rough several years. Ironic though, since I remember her always being such a fitness guru. I guess dying is part of life after all.

"You're The One That I Want" is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's pure Power Pop, along the lines of ABBA, whose music I adore. I consider The Ramones a Pop group too.

I will admit it. Grease is still one of my favorite movies.

I had a crush on her big time as a kid.

Sad. God Speed. 

Just came here to post this.  How sad.  I was fortunate enough to see her several times in concert.

WHAT a voice!
