A thousand a pair which would be the most common use in a SET stereo amp.
NOS Amperex 211 vacuum tube
Hello:
I have a rare quad set ofNOS Amperex 211 Vacuum tubes. Bonafide, tested, In fact two quad sets, but I am using two tubes in my Air Tight 211 monoblocs. I've had these tubes for years. Thinking about downsizing. I think the Amperex sound better than almost anything, and I have tried almost every 211 tube out there. Does anyone have an idea of what they are worth today?
@dill is spot on. $2000 A pair. |
Love that you are an Air Tight fan. I have their older 211 mono blocks, as well their 300B anniversary amp and the ATE 2001 pre amp. Let me get you some info on the tubes and you can make me an offer. I am not a dealer, and don't need the $, but I have quite a few NOS tubes, no interested kids and getting older. I'll try and send you some info via this website, but may need a direct email to send images/files/etc. Best, BP

I am a Long Term Monoblock 845 PP Power Amp user. I have on occasion considered what my future will look like with Power Amp's, and was very lucky to have found a very strong contender. The Nuetochrome 365 is of a dimension and weight that is very attractive to old bones. The 365 has been auditioned on a few occasions, but one ocassion was at meeting where the resident system using Soulution Amp's has a value of approx'£200K. I have heard the 365 on this system compared to Soulution Power Amp's and 211 Valve Power Amp's., as well as a few other Power Amp's. During these demon's I was confident the 365 was mote than adequate for my needs down the line. At the present a SE 300b is added to the System to be adding a new structure for end sound being produced. |
