Good question.
If you have hard wired your Naim to your router… then the Naim should working as a Streamer, DAC, and integrated amp. So the phone should not be involved… other than a controller. So, the Naim can select between inputs… Bluetooth, wifi… etc. you want the input ?Ethernet?… or whatever the name is. Or try wifi. Avoid any roaring through Bluetooth or apple AirPlay. These are inferior protocols.
If you are communication correctly.. then let’s look at the file resolution.

I'm using the built-in DAC of the Naim Uniti and my settings in Qobuz are all enabled to play 24/192. I use the Qobuz app to play tracks that get sent to the Naim via Chromecast so might this be the issue? If there's a better connectivity scenario for playing Qobuz to the Naim I'd love to find that out.

I don't think you need Chromecast in the chain. Your Naim Uniti Atom should stream directly from your ethernet connection, not through Chromecast. Here's what it says on the Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition page from Naim's website:

I was thinking it was Chromecast. I've been using the Quboz app on my phone and streaming via Chromecast because Quboz native through the Naim app won't let you search any artists, it only lets you search through your favorites which is really clunky.

Disregard, there is a search function almost hidden away in the Naim app where you can search artists through Quboz or Tidal. I'm an idiot. Thanks everyone for the help!

No, you’re not at all. I think there are a lot of idiot app developers who for some unknown reason hide frequently-used functions in absurd and unintuitive places making them hard to find. Revenge of the nerds!!!

streaming definitely has a learning curve, hardware and software sides both... but it is worth the payoff... lovely sound, super enjoyable... each sitting can be comfort food or a vast journey of discovery...

Hey l have the same situation and cannot get 192/24 playback
I run a cat 5 cable from my TP Link high speed router to my Audiolab 6000n streamer then spdif into my Oppo BD 105 blu ray player ( l use the oppo DSP to control my two subs) then spdif out to my external Exogal Comet Plus Dac
The Audiolab 6000N, OPPO and Exogal all support 192 24
And also I'm not sure if I'm having a battle between the DAC's between my devices for playback? When you go spdif out of the oppo it will bypass the oppo internal DAC I go through my oppo because my two channel setup is a ARC LS15 tube preamp and VAC PA 100 100 tube amp So no way for me to connect my two subs other than through the OPPO sub out
The streaming service/control for my Audiolab 6000n is all done through my smart phone via DTS PLAY-FI

I use Qobuz and going through their "discover" selections, I will find something in what they stipulate is "HI-REZ", but when I play some of them, my streamer tells me they are 16:44.1, same as a CD. It is Qobuz doing that, I am pretty sure. And some things that come through as 24/192 don't always sound better than 24/96.

Do you use Naim control app on your phone? Cause using Chromecast is not exactly direct streaming. Chromecast is just another way of connection between your phone and streamer and if you using Chromecast the actual streamer in this case is your phone with Qobuz as a source, not your Naim streamer.
In case to get highest resolution you need Naim as a main source and you need to control it with original app installed in your phone or tablet. In this case you don’t need Chromecast at all. Chromecast just working like a Bluetooth. When you stream from your Naim you’ll need to select Ethernet as a connection type and use Qobuz file inside of Naim controlling app on your phone. Don’t use Qobuz app.

My experience also. 192 does nothing to benefit mediocre recordings.

I agree. I find mastering of far greater importance than the actual resolution. Once and a while I will hear a really great recording with great dynamics… so I will check the resolution… frequently it is red book. Not always.
I would pursue figuring out is you are not getting the highest Rez. Why wouldn’t you. But just a note… it may not matter much.
