Let’s make this a better community!? With a follow up!

I whole hardly agree with this wonderful idea of  ml8764ag's but also have a second request.
Often post are made with great insight and helpful information but with a lot of "code" speak. For us newbies and none professional audio dealers it is hard to understand.

When you post things like "QAT 110 is better at..." we don't know what a QAT 110 is, well at least I don't. Sometimes a google search can solve the mystery and sometimes not.

I know typing out the whole name of something is a pain but it could be very helpful to us less enlightened audio buffs.

May your turntable always spin in the wright direction and have a great day.

Good point. I am not new to high end audio, but these days there are so many entrants that figuring out what equipment someone is talking about can be daunting.
Yes, a guy posted he had an Athena preamp the other day. Turns out there are at least two brands using that name. Technical shorthand often leads to confusion.
Totally agree. I've had high end audio for many years and I still get confused by certain specs---especially DACs. Clarity definitely helps.
Unfortunately it is really hard to always know what is jargon vs. what is shared by those reading.  I try to adjust based on the OP's question but I won't be able to keep everyone's background in my head at all times with perfect accuracy.

Instead I offer to be nice.  To be helpful and to answer sincere questions for further information in a way that encourages those I interact with to stick around. Also, I bake cookies which everyone on the A'gon actual insider's list get regularly.

If you didn't get my cookies, well, you need to be nicer.

I find the same thing when my wife sister start coming on to me few years ago I at first no read the signals and no keep them straight until finally we explode one night when she visit me on the boat.
