How international is your system?

I just realized that each of my components is from a different country (and they all seemingly get along fine!).

Wondering how international other people's systems are. Mine:

Scotland (turntable and cartridge)
Canada (phono pre)
England (CDP and tape deck)
New Zealand (integrated amp)
France (speakers)
Holland (ICs)
US (cables, cords)
128x128cpdunn99
Turntable Rega, UK
Phono pre Clearaudio, Germany
pre and power amp Rotel, UK/China
CD transport CEC, Japan????
DAC wadia Wadia, US
Speakers Impulse Dutch
IC Cardas, US
speakercable wireworld US

Are there people that would not buy Japanes or Chinees audio but only European and or American?
Not much Chinese here, although some good tube amps are said to be available. I wonder if the weak dollar is changing buying habits.
The expensive Euro has blocked my interest in European electronics. I have German speakers and Danish tt and cartridge. I also have a Chinese universal player. Everything else is from small American manufacturers.
With the Euro crashing, things might change. I might do some shopping when I'm over there in a couple of weeks.

Since the last time: 3) Zu Mother power cords, 3) Synergistic Research AC Master Couplers(X Series), Wireworld Gold Eclipse 5.2 and Synergistic Research Tesla Apex interconnects for the sound system, an Oppo BDP-83 and PS Audio xStream Statement SC for the TV. Still wanting quality, and looking out for my country's economy.

So if I buy a foreign component used, how would that hurt the U.S.? I would think buying American to support the U.S. economy would only be relevant for the first sale of the new item.

After that, U.S. or foreign, if the sale is made in the U.S., it supports the U.S. as the dealer gets his commission for whatever he / she sells.

Wouldn't this apply to cars too?

Interesting that this thread still has some life! And great to see the ethnic diversity in our various systems!
Inna, Garrard is a long-established British company. It's been around in one form or another for well over 200 years. Here's a website with an interesting timeline/history of the company: http://www.garrard501.com/history.html
Not very! All USA equipment except a ModWright modified Sony SCD-XA5400ES CD/SACD player.
