Help with previous post

Does anyone remember a post around Jan 20th from a memer sharing his experience with a brand that was not honoring his warranty or helping him out with a problem?  The dealer was also not helping?

His post was thoughtful and to let us know as in buyer beware?

I can't find the post anywhere so if you remember the member or the title can you please let me know?

thanks John H

Wait....you mean the Admin at Audiogon REMOVED a post thread????

Shocking.  Why I've never heard tell of that response 😁

well send the CDP to me and I can fix it and upgrade it

@johnah5 , They must have changed something with the last one or two system updates. In the past, even your partial comments on a deleted post would show in your discussions list with the title of the thread but clicking on it would result in a "thread closed" page.

At least that way, you'd know. I hope you can figure it out.

All the best,
Nonoise

@nonoise Thank you, I tried that but my one comment was also removed from my profile. Comments on 1/19 and 1/21 but non on 1/20 which is the comment at issue.  Support will help but I need to provide them with the OP or title of the thread.

Best JH

I think if you look back on your contributions to threads you’ll see a list of your statements that have a portion of what you said in that thread and it will contain the title of it despite being deleted.

All the best,
Nonoise

@cleeds

Yes but I made a comment that I need to retrieve as it has caused a slight issue.  I can't retrieve my comment as support needs to know the OP or the title.

So I am asking for help.
Thanks

My recollection of the thread is different. It was a deleted thread, so there's no point in repeating its content here.

Apparently the thread was removed because I criticised BAT and parent company Music Direct for bad behavior! Can't offend advertisers! I don't remember the OP, sorry!

@jasonbourne52

Thank you and great handle.

The thread was removed for some reason. Do you recall who was the OP and/or the title of the thread?

Thanks

That was the post about the BAT CD player that needed repair. The  owner had a new Philips laser assembly and he contacted Victor Khomenko of BAT - who refused to service it. This CD player cost thousands of $$$ - it came with a spare Philips laser assembly. So buyer beware when buying gear from BAT. Khomenko sold the company to Music Direct - who don’t want to take responsibility.
