HELP ... What NEW tubes would you select for a Manley Stingray?

Does it have the Hazen grid mod?

it is the original Stingray (with the sub-out option built-in)

Tung-Sol 7189 worth a try. New TS reissues are solid. 

Gold Lion N709/El84 new production are the best I've found for my Manley Mahis.

I like JJ EL84.    

I had the JJ EL84

Ended up going to the source (Manley).  They provided Yugoslavian tubes.

Sounds much better than the JJ.  Not exactly a fair comparison as the JJs were becoming difficult to bias.I think they were getting a bit on the old side.

Either buy direct from Manley, Upscale or perhaps Watford Valves(Jeff Day likes these tubes fwiw).

A note of caution: 7189's can be used in an el84 amp, el84's can NOT be used in an amp designed for the 7189.
