Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

And maybe the very nice lady from cptstatus@outlook.com took another summer holiday.

My point is that a myriad of legitimate reasons might exist for the lack of responsiveness from Mark.
@celander maybe so. What about a response from  Kemper or the new team or transition team? He seems to be the one posting for Mark anyway.
Any prospective buyers that may or may not exist may have gotten wind of the Audiogon postings and put a stop to them.  I certainly would have in their position.  Nothing left for Mark to say at this point anyway and if Kemper is in fact to be an employee of the new company then he needs to distance himself from the past as he was not actually involved in the business's operation or failure. My two cents.

In case there is anyone who hasn’t already been made aware of Mr. Schyfter’s previous legal history, here are links to 2 threads at Audioholics.

Now as you’ve noticed Mark is not reachable right now, if you read one of the other recent posts in this forum you will see that his health is not doing well right, and no offense but a mans health is more important than some speakers.

Hugh,

It looks like he either deleted it or a moderator did. I didn't see anything wrong with it. I hope CAS went well!

That case of the guy that bought the Lyngdorf was an odd one. It sounds like the guy was impatient with the dealer he had previously ordered from. But why would you buy a new product from an unauthorized dealer?

It looks like pajjohnson has had some minor sales, so hopefully someone received a refund.
Ryan,

CAS was a great success.
We came in 2nd behind Destination Audio with their massive horn speakers at $95K.

This whole cpt mess is bizarre, to say the least.
With regards to the Lyngdorf...
While in a conversation with Schyfter after I made my purchase, I told him what brand of equipment I was using, and he then told me if I ever needed anything from that 1 particular brand he had an employee discount with them and could help me with whatever I needed.

I wonder who else Schyfter made that offer to?
So is Kemper Holt’s name now tarnished with his association with CPT and Mark? I thought things were going to get better with his involvement but seems like nothing much has changed. Everybody is still left in the dark. Kemper goes around to all the audio shows and appears on videos for AVShowrooms so he has a somewhat public persona, will he be looked at differently now?
My dad always told me “if you lie down with dogs you get fleas”.  These guys are serial liars and should be held to the standard they set for themselves.
I’m not sure why @klh007 even makes posts of behalf of CPT (Mark). Why doesn’t Mark publish his own posts? Did Mark get banned from Audiogon?

Dear Audiogon Community

As we are finally near to signing off on everything so Counsel has allowed me to send along this update.

Firstly – and most importantly… I want to again apologize for the time this has taken. Summer Holidays really slowed us down and as we have people involved in 4 states, none of this has been easy or simple. Everyone has to “attend” the Close. This will be done electronically with the entire group and including my wife and myself.

I wanted to send along my thanks to those that have written and to those that are working with “cptstatus”. We are probably at 90%. I was really happy when I read that over 80% have opted for the product rather than a refund. Those opting for refunds will receive them with First Money.

Of course, all of this is very bitter-sweet for us here. We had hoped to keep Core Power until I reached 65 years of age (I’m 62 now) … best laid plans. Deep Core certainly made it all so difficult and the theft of my identity did not help matters.

As well, I want to really (once again) state how deeply sorry I am. None of this was planned – it’s just a confluence of issues caused us to reach the final conclusion to sell. The buyers (3 of them + Kemper leading the effort) are great guys with a very real knowledge of what it takes to run a business like this. I’m both sad and happy all at the same time. These guys have the pockets and smarts to get Deep Core out – as well as Ground Zero and USBe Perfect.

I will be not be a part of the ongoing efforts but I will always be looking out for Core Power and it’s products. My main issue will be on getting my health in order as well as my financial house. We’ve been through some very real trauma these last few weeks with no income for the last 120 days other than Social Security and some part of sales that my Grandson is handling for our family. He has done a superb job.

I have offered this before – and offering again. My contact information is as follows –

I am very appreciative for this place and the support we have received.

Very truly yours,

Mark

@corepowertech Hey Mark, what does working with “cptstatus” mean? I’ve sent you emails before about asking for a refund and you said you were getting a loan to pay the refunds but I never heard anything. I still have not been contacted by anybody. Am I to contact somebody else in regards to asking for a refund for the Deep Core?
@droleg I think I remember you being an early beta tester for the Deep Core but you had also paid Mark for one. Have you personlly heard from anybody about anything?
Mark, it doesn't do anything positive when you reach out to the community with a post and once again list your email address and phone number and then ignore people that attempt to contact you.
I wish you all the best but I understand why people that sent you funds for a product that they did not receive are very frustrated.
I sent an email to cptstatus@outlook.com along with a screenshot of my June 8,2017 payment thru PayPal. I must have missed it somewhere that this was the email to use and not corepowertech@outlook.com that Mark always references. If some have already received refunds like Mark has suggested I don’t know how they were notified because you would think if they were a follower on Audiogon they would have replied by now with the news they’ve been refunded. I’m still hoping for the best...
@t_ramey
i have no more information than you. I contacted Mark about 3 weeks ago and was again told i would have refund soon. I also got the schpeel that he obtained a loan several months ago to pay off refunds.
I respect and admire those customers who invested in CPT (prepaying for a promised future product = investing).  It’s tough being a loyal supporter of a company having gone awry. Best of luck securing just compensation.
I don't know why you admire them or call getting nothing for something an investment.  And why support a company that has "gone awry"?  They should have to earn your support not have it given by doing nothing, saying nothing, and delivering nothing.
Well, most, if not all, of the customers who prepaid for the CPT Deep Core product were customers who had previously purchased other CPT products and were happy CPT customers. CPT earned their customer loyalty over the years based upon those successful products. And the “gone awry” event appears directed to only the failed delivery of their Deep Core products.

You've got to be kidding me - who let this guy out of his cave to prey on unsuspecting audio enthusiasts AGAIN?

If @sfseay even read my contributions to this thread, then perhaps he would not be so mean-spirited.
@celander Have you heard and more on the CPTStatus progress? Everything seems to have stalled. There is no response from Mark or the transition team to any of my emails...
@amg56 Much to my surprise, Mark posted about an hour after my query about CPT being potentially banned from the forum. Read up a bit a few posts on this page. He posted sometime on August 4th. He previously had Kemper post responses on his behalf.

I know nothing about CPTstatus progress. I have no skin (lost funds) in the game due to the Deep Core debacle. So I’m not one to get any news. I hope you get your $$ back. I’m a supporter of you and others in a similar situation.
Call me a fool (and, many have), but I think there has never been an attempt to steal from those who bought CPT products. CPT had a great reputation with the Equi-Core.
At worst, it was poor management/over-optimistic hopes. Poor health certainly didn't make things easier.
Sometimes things get out of hand and all hell breaks loose. The Deep Core is probably that thing.

In any case, I am hopeful that the new owners will honor past agreements.
Bob
@gdnrbob There have been dozens of instances of undelivered goods and refunds going back to the original CPT products pre-dating Deep Core. The issues and patterns here mirror Schyfter's legal problems going back 6-10 years+.
This phenomenon pretty much mirrors the product expansion of AV123 with the same results.
I’ve read elsewhere in another CPT-related thread that some report smooth transactions regarding the available NOS products on the main A’gon site. Have others had similar results?
I just purchased a brand new Equi=Core 1800 from Paul (Mark's Grandson) and everything went well with the transaction. I sent PayPal payment on 8/1/18 and he shipped the same day and sent me a tracking number. He said that his Grandma (Mark's wife) had just finished building and boxing the unit the day before.. I received it on Monday and it was brand new and perfect as stated. It's in my system right now breaking in and sounds amazing. I was skeptical pulling the trigger on this purchase after reading all the recent posts regarding the issues people are having with Mark and CPT. I was also concerned about buying a product from a company that is currently in limbo and may or may not be in business to support the product should I ever have a problem with it. Before I sent payment I called Paul and we discussed my concerns which helped me relax a little bit but I was still very nervous when I hit that send payment button on the PayPal site. The price was really good and he included a free Super Stroke power cord which I think was normally a $99 upgrade with the purchase of an 1800. I feel for all the people who prepaid for Deep Core units and never received the product or a refund. Hopefully the sale of CPT will go through and the new owners will honor these previous commitments to everyone's satisfaction.
@acaman I debated which term to use (new old stock [NOS], new stock, current stock) as the company wasn’t exactly doing business as usual. Sorry for the confusion, though you figured it out.

@hifipassion I’m glad that went smoothly. I had an opportunity to get a B-sock unit from Mark that he listed on the A’gon. Missed it before the ad expired.

My 1800's were ready to ship back in March. "Lynn had personally overseen the build and pack" along with the SS I ordered. Ready to ship "Monday"! ...nothing. Still nothing today. A "same ol' same ol'" email came yesterday. Empty promises again. It is taking my legal team effort and my money to see a refund I paid, for 2 DCs, 2 E=C 1800s and 2 SS cables.

I'll have paid more for my legals than the refund, or product in the first place. If I had the E=C and SS products, I could have waited for the DCs. But all I got was empty promises. Trust, Faith and Honesty was all I could hope for. Even these were not enough.

@hifipassion I hope so. I really hope so. I want to put this sad saga behind me and chalk it up to experience. I wonder if I'll ever do business directly with an overseas party again. Who to trust even with due diligence.

@celander

Could you please ask the moderators to un-hide the Deep Core and other CPT Equi-core thread so we can review all the comments together?

So rather than send product to customers like @amg56, who already paid for Equi-Cores, Schyfter took more monies and sent off product through his son-inlaw to other buyers?

This reminds me like one of those old ponzi schemes...
@chazzzy007 I don't know what threads were removed germane to this discussion. If the moderators removed them, then they likely have a good reason. But the OP can also delete a thread.  I’m not sure the moderators would over-ride a decision that an OP made.
@chazzzy007 You make a good point. @amg56 has so much skin in the game, and he’s in Australia or New Zealand to boot. Not clear why they can’t ship everything except the DC product to him.
I have a copy of all the complete CPT threads on file for my legal people to sift through. Every post from 18 months back to just before the moderators pulled them. Just in case I needed them, like now.
Wait a minute here.

So Mark has everything except Deep Core in stock and he wouldn’t send to amg56, instead he’s selling them via his grandson?

Is this a true statement?

If so then amg56, we need to talk.
I believe I publicly stated if anybody needs my help then let me know but so far, just a couple of people who connected directly with me.
Difference between a schlemiel and schlimazel: At a fancy diner party the schlemiel is the one who spills the soup at the table. The schlimazel is the one he spills it on.
I think CPT is sadly mistaken if they think they can simply ignore customers located halfway around the world.
