Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.
Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......
@aniwolfe Prepare to be blown away... I had my own interesting experience waiting for a product - I had ordered the Nectar Matress (reasonably expensive purchase) and I’ve waited about a month now for it. The company appears to be very good and I certainly “understand” the wait. Deep Core has taken way longer than I (or anyone involved) expected... but with a great team behind the Engineering and the Manufacturing I’m following their lead and getting it right - In the coming weeks I believe we will ship many of these and the people will take over from their with their own experiences with this product. I’m as excited as anyone about this... I am so sorry about the wait - but the product is “right” (even down to the proper knob/shaft fit) and this company is very proud of the end result. Thanks as always... Mark |
Hi all. I am the happy owner of a 1200 unit. It was well worth the purchase cost for me. The unit is on a dedicated 20 amp circuit and is powering my entire system (MacMini, DAC, passive preamp, and 2 watt SET amp). My question is whether or not it makes sense to keep the Mac plugged into the 1200 with all the other equipment. I am wondering if the electrical noise from the Mac is having a negative effect on the rest of the components. Options are to try to move the Macmini to a separate circuit or try running a small isolation transformer off the 1200 to power the Mac. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? |
This just posted... For headphones - I think there can be no better friend... Flat Panel TV's also - but that's another discussion... Many thanks, Mark http://headphone.guru/headphone-gurus-2017-products-of-the-year-and-writers-choice-awards/ |

Thanks again... @t_ramey As we are shipping Deep Core I can now release the Power Point we have available. Strap yourself in - this will blow you away. If you want to get a copy just e-mail me at corepowertech@outlook.com Much much more to follow... Many thanks Mark |
Yes, congrats Mark and Lynn and the whole CPT family! Since the Deep Cores are about to ship to people's homes, can you now go into more detail what exactly it will be doing in ones system? I think klh007 referred to it as a filter compared to the 1800 so I'm wondering more and more what it's primary purpose is. I know before you were reluctant to talk too much about it but since it's about to ship can you elaborate more about its function? |
I guess it's a good moment to bring forth yet another Product of The Year Award that we just yesterday found out about. Audiophilia and it's amazing Editor Anthony Kershaw has named the Core Power EQUI=CORE 1800 one of it's Products of The Year. I am truly honored as this is a gentleman that knows his music and his likes in a very definite manner. I read his site constantly... Please take a peek here... http://www.audiophilia.com/reviews/2017/11/20/audiophilias-products-of-the-year-2017 Very best holiday wishes, Mark and Lynn |
Dear Friends at Audiogon…
Firstly and most importantly Happy Thanksgiving (belated here with apologies)…
I can only stay at my computer for a very short time today as it really hurts my eyes and my head. I know most of you know I’m fighting several major health issues and together they can really knock me down. It’s truly with my most sincere apologies that I’m just not able to be “present” all days.
To be frank with all of you, it really hurts when I’m not there for conversations or help. It pains me actually. There have been so many issues closing the Emerald Physics operation in Colorado. It literally took us 6 months to get everything to their destinations. So many pallets – I wonder how my wife did all of this.
Setting up Core Power in our new digs took an extra 90 days from plan. It killed us and many of you. We are shipping 220/240v 50Hz now with ease – but our new Schuko multi socket is not quite ready – 3 more weeks. PK and Peter told me they are ready to ship 11 more DEEP CORES (see message below) so Ozzy (2x) and LAK will have theirs in hand next week – these have really been put through the ringer when it comes to testing. We are super pleased with the results.
We are processing on Underwood backlog and Core Power and next week will ship these plus our long overdue units to Canada. The promised letter to many of you re delayed units and what I’m doing about it is finished and we will begin emailing these right away.
OK – all of that said… I certainly think it time to get some help at Core Power – it’s simply not fair to all of you when you have questions etc. and I cannot get out of bed. We are talking to several good friends about joining the company – simply put, I need some help.
Kemper has been there to post for me when I’m down and out and the very last thing he deserves is to get even a modicum of crap for helping me out here. I’m really upset about it and all I can say is how truly grateful I have to Kemp for the helping hand.
The truth is my health matters are much worse than I dare talk about here. I’m having both good and bad days right now – but working realy l hard to course correct. With some time, I expect to be able to manage what I have here.
There will be more in the days to come. Today I sat at the computer for an hour and I’m literally sick to my stomach. Better days ahead. I’m truly grateful for all of you… BTW, many thanks to all of you for the kind and supportive messages.
Wishing everyone a beautiful holiday season…
Mark and Lynn

I'm here, but Mark's health is preventing him from posting,or even texting me. I'm hoping he's better today and can post. I know some of you are tired of the same news, but Mark's health takes first priority even over the business. He will post when he is able and we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding in the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving to all. |
Is this such a shoestring operation that they can't hire *one* more person to deal with phone calls, orders, posting on A'gon, etc.? I mean, are there units of the original Equi=core's still being manufactured? By whom? What about QC? I was seriously considering the purchase of a 1200, but this endless saga is very off-putting. |
@klh007 " I believe Mark will have a DC update today with good news." 11/19/17 Are you some troll or something? A lot of Mark’s loyal customers have been waiting VERY patiently for the release of the Deep Core. Why would you further frustrate his customers like this? It’s only hurting Mark and his company. Please explain yourself. |

Dear Audiogon Friends
Thanks for your well wishes and wonderful messages to us.
We are back to work today building and shipping product. We have built the entire backlog now (even 220v units that people have waited forever for) and we are shipping the entire backlog this week. My humble thanks to all of you…
Deep Core had a very minor hiccup with a part that came in Metric that was supposed to be Imperial Standard. That new part arrived today in Newbury Park, so we are off to the races. This was the part that held the 3-wire connection in place – minor problem easily fixed.
Your very kind messages re my Son in Law were gratefully received. I really want to say thanks again…
We will ship the entire backlog this week – so those of you interested in our Black Friday deals are now welcome to connect with me via mail, call or text

I am helping Lynn pack for most of the next two days, but I will be back now that my SIL is out of the woods. It was really close… ☹ I have to parcel my time carefully because this backlog needs to be shipped out quickly.
Thanks again,
Mark

Mark's Son-In-Law was in a serious accident and remains in the hospital. Mark and Lynn are the support group and they are focusing all their energy supporting their family. They have been at the hospital or home sleeping, phones are off as they take care of their family. I'm hoping Mark will be back to work Monday and he can bring us all up to speed on all things CPT. |
