Dust on speaker cones.

Gently wiping it off with a soft paintbrush works.

Unless it's sticky, a micro fiber towel and make up brush kit is really good.

A vacuum cleaner hose with a large vent you can adjust for maintenance. Use a soft brush attachment.

If its sticky, sit it on fire, outside preferably. :-) No there is a way for that too. BUT it may include fire.. LOL

i keep one in the closet of my listening room, and btw, i run synergistic orange fuses in it... really makes the sound more transparent

Thanks guys. Should have thought about the paint brush. I use them on my camera gear.

Camel hair paintbrush for finishing and cutting in work.

Couple more options - air purifier with a HEPA filter (this is pretty good anyway for a number of issues), or

 - get a new house specially designed to have zero airborne contaminants.

I'd go for the first option, but I know the lengths some audiophiles will go to.

I use nothing but pubic hair from asian elephant. If brush go missing than Hermes cloth like scarf and Fiji water. 

My house is 95 years old. A HEPA filter wouldn't accomplish much....or not for long anyway.

Asian elephants do not have pubic hair.

Went to a local paint shop and asked for the softest 1" wide paint brush they had. Works fine. A smaller marten hair brush might be the best choice for dome tweeters. 

It depend on lineage, but it sparse not like 1970’s.

I have my cat trained to do that, and all the chores.
