Do you have a problem with the advertisers thinking that Hispanic people might have an interest in music and hi fi? I'm sure you have more important thing to worry about!
Linda Ronstadt displayed the absolute peak of human artistic expression with her albums Canciones de me Padre and Ma Canciones. Easily up there with the works of Micheal Angelo, J. D. Slanger and countless others. You should check them out!

Hah! I used to work in restaurants in So Cal with Mexican guys and I probably spoke more Spanish than English at work. I miss that kinda talk...

I use Firefox browser with DuckDuckgo for the search engine and never get pop up ads and have more privacy which is the main reason I use them. About to start running my DIY custom SFF water cooled computer where I have it setup with just DuckDuckgo for the browser and search, no pop ups ever. On occasion I need to do something that does not work on either browser so I open Edge, do what I need then close it but I am looking for a way around that.

I've been getting the ad for a few days now. The frequency changes. Yesterday was bad, today is really bad.

Sooo annoying! Guess I am a lucky one….yikes.

Yes, an ad blocker helps to alleviate these pop-ups but in my past experiences, using a browser other than Edge or Google squelched this issue. On another note, when daily tuning in to my purely English language local sports radio 📻 station via Audacy in Miami through Alexa, I am bombarded by commercials spoken in Spanish. Yes, I am aware that Miami is 83% Espanol, but it makes zero sense if the audio commentary spoken of said radio show is strictly in English...Are Spanish only speaking Latinos tuning in to not understand the crux of the broadcast just to hear commercials spoken in Espanol? I've been told to change my Zip code in the Alexa app to one where the demographic is fully non Hispanic but have not gone that route as of yet...this scenario is just as I live it..my point of experience only, no harm, no foul...

What ads? I guess my add blocker works better than I thought!

Popped up multiple times just trying to respond to this thread!

Funny, I copy it but it won’t paste here.

I’ve been getting them too. Really annoying. I don’t think it’s possible to grab the url of the actual pop-up ad (the url bar on my iExplorer still shows audiogon when the ad is playing), but when the ad is clicked on it launches a separate page. I’ll see if I can copy that url.
|
If anyone can figure out how to send a link of the ad to support@audiogon.com that would be extremely helpful.
|
I’ve been getting them also. This morning it was so bad like every 5 to 10 seconds I had to abort reading the forum. The only way to get out of it was to go back and start over. After a while I gave up. Extremely annoying.

I been getting that same add from time to time the last few weeks, it's a full screen.
