Can I assemble a decent system out of these components

Very nice gear you inherited! I would keep the VPI and AR PH3 and at least one of the amps, assuming you know how to set up the VPI (leveling, tracking force, etc.). Selling that and buying a new TT seems odd to me. You loose on the trade and you loose in potential sound quality, so a loose-loose approach. my 2c.

Not sure whether it is possible to play vinyl with your gear to wireless speakers. I would re-think the wireless, and use some of the available wired speakers instead. Some wireless speakers can be set up that one gets wires in (close to amp) while second one is WiFi/BT tethered to the first.

Even if you can't play vinyl through the preferred wireless speakers, I would keep the VPI/AR for future use. You can get some cheap USB TT as a tie over.

If vinyl is not your thing to begin with, then I would question all of the vinyl, including the record collection, though I bet there are memories embedded with them. 

Run the VPI into the PH3, on standard RCA cables run the output of the PH3 to the one set of RCA inputs on the M10. Done, good luck and enjoy.

Keep the gear. It's pretty decent.

Don’t sell, trade the gear. It’s good stuff- especially the turntable and arm.  Most likely some good vinyl.  Try setting up a system and enjoy it for a year. Then, decide if you enjoy it enough to keep it. 
Where do you live?

 Are there any audiophiles in your area- clubs, meetings, etc? Any audiophile buddies who hung with your dad? Perhaps you can get some advice from them?

Youtube might have videos about your specific pieces and set up advice. 
Of course, you can ask questions on this forum.

Yes you can have more than descent system.

That is some great gear to get dropped on you. Don't think you can go wrong with any of it. 

Honestly, set it up, play around with it, and keep what sounds best to you. Obviously your Dad really cared about music, and got some good stuff.
