Anyone with similar equipment

My System:  Amp - Parasound A21+, Preamp - Parasound P6, Phono Amp - Parasound JC 3 Jr, Turntable - MOFI Studiodeck with Hana ML, Streamer - Bluesound Vault 2i, Speakers - GoldenEar Triton One.R, Cables - Audience Ohno  III (speaker, xlr, and rca).

Looking for cabling upgrade ideas from my current cables. Anyone with similar equipment that are having success with their cabling. Your input is greatly appreciated.

While I do not own any Parasound equipment I am familiar with their sound profile. I would recommend Cardas. The cables are warm and detailed. I suspect would be a perfect complement. Ideally you could borrow some from a dealer or The Cable Companies Lending library. if you crave detail then DHLabs has excellent and very cost efficient cables.

But, it is always best to audition for a number of hours.

I've owned Parasound equipment.  I'm a Synergistic Research fan. I think even their entry level cables would pair well. I'd stay away from silver cables. Maybe give usedcables.com a look.

I appreciate the responses. The Used Cable company actually recommended the Synnergistic Research Foundation XLR's. There speaker chose was the Audience AU24 SE upgrade from the Ohno III.

we have many of your components

personally we would recomend upgrading your electronics  over cables

the parasound gea ris great fof the money howeve you can easily take your system  to another level by upgrading to even better electronics

coda dealers

It really depends on what improvements and sound characteristics you’re looking for more than the equipment because it’s mostly a personal taste kinda thing.  If you give more specific info on what you’d like to improve you’ll get much more targeted recommendations.  Just my $0.02 FWIW.

@defman66,    You are using Triton 1R speakers, I am using the Triton Reference Speakers.  I switched from expensive speaker cables to Canare 4S11 cables and I couldn’t be happier.  They sound great out of the box and after 400 hours, magnificent.  I have had them in my system for 3 years and won’t change them.   Blue Jeans can make them for you.

I've found the Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme  cables, to be a significant improvement over my Ohno lll, which I like and now use in a second system. I had an earlier version Parasound amp. Certainly an upgrade of minimal cost relative to upgrading your electronics. I would be very cautious of Cardas, only purchase if you can return as some find them dull and lifeless, I did.

@derfman66 - re"

Looking for cabling upgrade ideas from my current cables.

The cables you have are pretty good because they use OCC copper. but their weak point would seem to be thsir insulation and their connectors.

I would look at Audio Envy and Zavfino cables if you want to improve things. Both use OCC copper, but they have better insulations (i.e. lower noise floor) and better connectors

Your Parasound components are actually well deisnged and built and they will perform much better if you upgrade your cables

Most components manufactured in the last 10 years will perform signficantly better if you use higher quality cables.

Some might argue that your components do not warrent expensive cables, but I have been building cables for my own use for arouns 15 years and can assure you that even a $350 mini system sounds significantly better when treated to good cables.

Good cables will last you a lifetime and they will allow you to hear the differences between components, when and if you decide to upgrade components.

Without good cables, a component upgrade can be a hit or miss proposition

If you have not upgraded your power cables take a look at Audio envy and Zavfino PC’s. They are very well designed and implemented and should make a noticeable improvement

Take a look at this thread, which discusses the various aspects of good cable design

What I have Found - Makes a good cable

Hope that helps
