I’m not planning to use it for a turntable. Just for power conditioners, DAC and computer audio components.
And the Townshend platforms would sit on the shelves, with the components on top of the Townshends. I have had good first-hand experience with Townshends for my amps and speakers actually.
So what I am really looking for is a solidly built and decent looking cabinet that will be good for isolation and provide a solid base for the Townshends. The Townshends will do the bulk of the isolation I believe. But I expect the cabinet also needs to be good at absorbing or moving down and out any residual energy.
@dayglow, what are the other options did you mean?
@Audiotroy, do the Synergy 323s only come with aluminum posts or can they be had with steel posts?
