If correct around $3K is a lot to pay for any type of cabinet from Salamander. The top glass(?) shelf supports 150lbs? What is the weight capacity of the inside shelves? What about air flow for your amp? IMO for $3k you can do better with much less assembly. There are numerous options new or used that have better quality and fit and finish.
Any thoughts on Salamander Synergy cabinets?

I need an audio cabinet and and am thinking of Salamander Synergy 323 which suits my size and other requirements perfectly. I plan to use Townshend platforms on the Salamander shelves for each component that goes inside or on top of the cabinet. I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences you might have had with Salamander or specifically on the combination of Townshend platforms used in/on Salamander cabinets. I am committed to Townshend as I find their approach to component and speaker isolation first class.
