Any thoughts on Salamander Synergy cabinets?

Hi:
I need an audio cabinet and and am thinking of Salamander Synergy 323 which suits my size and other requirements perfectly.  I plan to use Townshend platforms  on the Salamander shelves for each component that goes inside or on top of the cabinet.  I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences you might have had with Salamander or specifically on the combination of Townshend platforms used in/on Salamander cabinets.  I am committed to Townshend as I find their approach to component and speaker isolation first class.

Thanks for any thoughts.  Any ideas about alternatives would also be helpful.

"Speakers should never be placed on isolation platforms of any type."

That's a strange comment mijostyn. They've been proven to be effective by many users including myself.

audiotroy,

Were you driving when you posted your answer? It looks that way.

I agree. Chris at Timbernation is great to deal with and for the same money or a little more you will get beautiful solid hardwoods. He will make it to your specs and give you a price upfront.
