Has anyone used the new Innuos 2.0 Sense music app? Compared it to Roon? Hi @thyname. Attenuating the bass drivers by 5/10/15 db across the bass driver spectrum alone is easily managed with Rothwell attenuators. But unfortunately I have historically felt that a little bit of attenuation is also necessary at the lowest ...
Has anyone used the new Innuos 2.0 Sense music app? Compared it to Roon? I see, too bad about the lack of DSP with Innuos. I find it essential for my Linkwitz system to manage down the bass output that would otherwise overload my room with bass. Thanks
Has anyone used the new Innuos 2.0 Sense music app? Compared it to Roon? Hi @grannyring and everybody else: Currently I use Roon, but would like to get the better sound I have heard people are able to get from Innuos Sense and even from Qobuz going direct into the DAC. I like Roon because of its ease of use and its da...
Any thoughts on Salamander Synergy cabinets? Thanks for all the input! I’m not planning to use it for a turntable. Just for power conditioners, DAC and computer audio components. And the Townshend platforms would sit on the shelves, with the components on top of the Townshends. I have had ...
Any thoughts on Salamander Synergy cabinets? Thank you that's good to know. I will browse there. This may be the way to go. Thanks
Congratulations Atmasphere! Hi Ralph I see you have now introduced your Class D amps. Just curious whether you currently offer multi-channel versions of your amp? Or have any plans to do that i the near future? Thanks
Really need some help finding a full range speaker If you are at all handy you could look into a DIY kit for the open baffle Linkwitz LX521.4. It is a superb full range speaker. The kit can be purchased from Madisound for less than $5K. I haven’t heard them all, but this is a truly great speaker s...
Congratulations Atmasphere! Thanks Ralph. Ill keep an eye open for developments on your end.
Congratulations Atmasphere! Hi Ralph:My congratulations on winning the patent! Just out of curiosity, at least for now, a question...For starters I am basically very low-tech in my understanding of your work. But I am curious if your new amps would be usable for my Linkwit...
I have to downsize big time, any ideas on integrated amps and smaller 3 way speakers Sorry to hear about your circumstances. I've always eyed the Audience 2+2s myself with interest. With a good tube integrated - e.g. VAC or Rogers or perhaps Melody, etc - they should be fabulous. I know for sure that the Audience Ones are great ...
REST IN PEACE - TIM MROCK Very sorry to hear that. He was a gentleman in his dealings here and gave me some very useful advice on a problem I had. My sincere condolences to Krissy.
Music Direct - Audio Hardware Seller? Hi, MusicDirect in my experience has always been first rate. I'd say give them another chance.
Metal cabinet speakers Agree with @millercarbon in part. What I’d add is that a carefully designed wood cabinet could be better than metal, but open baffle speakers are really the way to go IMO for several reasons and he touches on one important one that relates to metal.
Does anyone use wood for vibration control? I'd agree with GeoffKait about set up. The cones I use under the purpleheart and padauk bases are Golden Sound cones with squares. And between my components and the wood bases I put springs that Geoff sells. It's a set up (not the wood type its...
Does anyone use wood for vibration control? Its probably true that wood vibrates. Some less than others though, and purpleheart perhaps less than others. And it may be that the resonance of wood is easier to live with than of other materials. An excellent material for damping is somethin... |
