It’s not getting old that scares me …it’s the friggin side effects!

We are all in the same boat ... No one end in the same way and sometimes as he wish not ...

Fingers crossed ... 😉

I did not know that from a credible source ...Now i believe it 😊

Thanks

70+ is the new 50. :-)

wow ….me too . So we are all septuagenarians.…I too recently turned 71….

I’m a baby-boomer and thus occasionally referred to as a dinosaur by millennials. . My handle on CANUCKAUDIOMART is “Boomersaurus”. At our age, we don’t have grey hair …. We have “ Wisdom  Highlights”

Tobacco smoke leaves particles in vinyl grooves.  You hear then as noise.  Very hard to clean out.

A smoking jacket with a cigar and slippers sounds pretty good.

Too bad I'll never smoke in my home/listening room (let alone a cigar).

Sounds pretty good though.

I suppose I could still wear the smoking jacket and slippers.

I nice scotch and/or perhaps some other intoxicant is certainly doable as well.

I don’t smoke a pipe but would 420 and slippers count?  If so, I’m in!   Forgot, a diet A&W Rootbeer too.

I am 2 months younger ...😉

My best to you and thanks for your always common sense thoughtful replies here ...

I go 73 this year

me too.......but not for 10 months.

slippers for the colder 8 months, a blanket always handy. mostly bare feet the warmer 4 months.

never-ever on the intentional ingesting of smoke. occasional variety of adult beverages. wee bit of Lagavulin a fav.

sub in Davis Family Vineyards - Red of some form, or Talisker and OluKai…..

great timely and fond memories pic @yogiboyespecially in this Advent season with the first dusting of Yuletide snow yesterday.

Yep …. If you can substitute a wee dram of a premium grade scotch whiskey , say, 16 year old go-to LAGAVULIN …… Instead of the pipe as the accessory in your picture ….

the “ smoking jacket “ the man is wearing in your picture (see WIKIPEDIA) is a “manly” trapping from a bygone era that brings a smile to my face . I vaguely remember my dad and uncle having them along with their duelling pipes smoke wafting around in front of a wood burning fireplace .

And the “slippers” have evolved for me into more of a floppy “Moon boot” filled with goose down .

Yes… well, minus the pipe… I had to give that up fifty years ago. Oh yes, also minus the suit. But I wear slippers.
