Alice Cooper vs. Al Di Meola?

I get a kick out of seeing manufacturers rolling out these artist tables

Longtime fan of Alice and Al, so gotta have both.

Use the Alice for those days when you're  feeling the urge for high volume assault

Use the Al for more sophisticated, prog jazzy days?

I posted the Alice package earlier, and thought..huh? Maybe the marketing guys are grasping for a win in these challenged times?

Who's next?  What brand /artist do we need to knock it out of the park?

What would Tech Das rollout?😂

The Neil Young "On the Beach" model, featuring a sand-infused plinth for vibration deadening. smiley

These turntables aren't novelty garbage, maybe kinda/sorta audiophile level?

Who buys this stuff? Maybe on a world wide level 🤔 , but I can't imagine either being a hot  item in the U.S.

We're talking a high level  company doing this, so it would have to be sand from Zuma Beach, in Malibu. All the celebrity  goofballs would be protesting the devastating effects of upsetting the habitat of the Malibu Sand Flea!

.

I didn't realize that Revox made turntables; that looks like a pretty nice one that would play my 'Love It To Death' Rhino reissue and my upcoming 'Revenge of Alice Cooper', with the original band (even the late Glen Buxton is on 2 tracks), really well....

A sage observation. Standard "play sand" would probably not have enough intrinsic value (or cache) to appeal to the minds of many audiophiles.
