New house, wife reveals she hates my Maggies- looking for stand mount speaker suggestions
Some women are very liberal with their husbands. They don't want a puppet. A fortunate man marries that type of woman. The unfortunate ones get Happy Wife Happy Life and 'Get rid of the Maggies'.
New house, wife reveals she hates my Maggies- looking for stand mount speaker suggestions
The real reason so many wives hate their husband’s sound system is that they want the man’s attention focussed on them. This is the central issue. It will never be admitted but that is it. The never admitting stems from the always never admitted g...
Any Sony TA-N7 fans on this forum?
There'd probably be more Sony V-Fet fans on the Amp Preamps Forum rather than the Analog Forum where you have mistakenly posted this.....
Accuphase F-25 Active Crossover, any experience?
I have been considering selling my F-25 for about a year, BUT after finding that fellow who custom makes the boards. No way! I still have a far off fantasy of making my own customisable active speaker and these custom made frequency boards for the...
New house, wife reveals she hates my Maggies- looking for stand mount speaker suggestions
When I hear the term "Happy Wife Happy Life". I see a man who has been either transformed into or chose to become a performing seal. Ready to jump through however many hoops which are held-out. Every time a hoop is held out. Don’t question it...
New house, wife reveals she hates my Maggies- looking for stand mount speaker suggestions
I quickly thought the title said " ...Wife hates my Maggies looking for a standing 8 count"
Accuphase F-25 Active Crossover, any experience?
I thought I would share something with the worldwide Accuphase F-25 owners: There's a fellow on ebay who is designing custom frequency boards:  https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?item=176162213418&rt=nc&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l170197&...
They should charge more for it…
Secondly, it might be excellent. Standard setting in fact but Fremer will be gifted his. In return, his true testimony will sell at least 50 of them. Good for Fremer. Good for WB. What did the government grant buy the populace at large? They open...
They should charge more for it…
I don't even equate this to a full fledged supercar. More a over-hyped car obscenely priced.  It's more a story about a vast amount of Government Grant money spent(ie) someone got rich developing this. Now they need to price it into the stratosph...
They should charge more for it…
I interpret "they should charge more for it" to be a compensatory device attempting to assuage, justified in my opinion, criticism of the outlandish price. I mean the criticism of the price is justified not the assuaging. It certainly is not wort...
I'm a little perplexed/surprised by TMR and who sells to them.....
Profit? My father once said to me that a business which never makes a profit soon ceases to be a business.

Low internal resistance mc phono cartridges
I can understand the internal resistance of the cartridge being low for ideal transimpedance phono conversion but how much does the arm wiring swamp that tiny internal resistance? Maybe a miniature transimpedance stage being built either into the...
Phono Stage - The great analog tragedy
In a great vinyl analogue system a great phono stage is the icing and cherry on the cake. Trouble is that a great phono stage will not correct deficiencies of turntable arm and cartridge. Given a great turntable, great arm and great cartridge, a g...
