Denon 103r ???? Mingles...I replaced a Grado Sonata with a Benz and can tell you that the Sonata in contrast is tan/brown in color, grainy, harsh, and fuzzy. When you upgrade to a better cartridge, you will hear what I'm talking about...there is always room for i...
Which is the best CD-Player up to $ 10k ? I'm very pleased with my Ayre C5xe...but WARNING... It sounds its best run balanced. There is a definite loss when played single ended.

Whats the best Cartridge for a bright Pro-ject 9 ? Your question is rife with crazy making. I have discovered that the balancing act of using a bright component with a rolled off contrasting component introduces additional problems to the system. My suggestion is to use components that have flat p...

VPI - MINI HR-X FOOT UPGRADE FOR SCOUT The mini feet are a worthwhile purchase. The original equipment cones get wobbly when raised even a bit. It therefore is more difficult to level the table with the cones, and not jeopardize its stability. I could be wrong, butI think that may be t...
Ground loop hum from Turntable Cheaters are ok to test for ground loops, but they sound awful. Don't use them as a permanent installation
VPI Aries 3 Has Arrived I think the additional control of speed and the stability of that speed makes the SDS a very worthwhile addition. You will absolutely need it if you plan on the rim drive, but even if you don't, it is a valuable control. On cartridges, the Dyna XV...
Okay......best single box reference CD player Kops..Have you heard the Ayre in balanced mode in a good system? If you had you wouldn't ask that question.Audiofeil...
