| Need Advice Sota Sapphire III + SME IV arm I had a Sota with an SMEV that didn't work well together...the arm was too heavy for the suspension. Maybe the IV is lighter and therefore will work better, but find out before spending a lot of money on it. | |

| Best cartridge to reduce hum under $400 USD ..sounds to me like your getting hum from the turntable itself. Grados are especially sensitive to hum like this. Call Grado for help..they have some things that may help. | |

| Sennheiser 650 Headphone Cable Upgrade I have Sen 650's and have Cardas replacement cables. The difference is quite striking ...everything gets better. I think its so odd, since Cardas cables are the very worst on my system using interconnects, speaker cables, and power cords. | |

| grills or no grills on your speakers..matters? this depends on the speaker designer's intentions. I have Vandersteen who strongly recommends them on - the grills are a part of the performance design as well as aesthetics. |
