Need Suggestions
Agree with others above in that this could be a tough ask, especially since you’re so attuned to what the the Opus’ do well. That said, there’s no reason you can’t have some fun going out to listen to other speakers (health issues aside of course ...
Looking for an integrated Amp...
Or Lyngdorf TDAI 3400.  Mucho good reviews.
Looking for an integrated Amp...
I think @audiotroy has a good recommendation for a good integrated with room correction.  Micromega or some such?  Room correction is huge in my experience and far outweighs any shortcomings.  Just my personal experience.
Black Cat Cable's/Coppertone wires are amazing good!
Yo Teajay! Goodonya man! I have a Stereovox XV1 digital cable. A bit too detailed and maybe a little harsh sounding. However, I have no doubt Chris can work some magic with copper. I spoke with him personally and the dude knows his sh*t. I think y...
Speaker wire... Diy?
So, we’ve got some smart dudes here with differing opinions. I think that’s really cool because that’s how I learn. Now I want to open up a new can of worms that I’m really intrigued about but don’t have an informed opinion. Is there any advantage...
I'm having a really hard time with: "Power cable reduced my soundstage"...
@captbeaver and @whostolethebatmobile. You had me at hello. Anyone looked at Madscientist cables? They fly under the radar, which intrigues me further. Yeah they have some Voodoo stuff going on, but it seems to work based on reviews and I’m intere...
Seeking speaker purchase advice
What specifically are you looking to improve upon?  Just saying you want to move to a ribbon tweeter doesn't say much.  I can't believe the only improvement you're looking for is only in the tweeter.  Tell us what improvements you'd really like to...
?Morrow or ZenWave Power and interconnects?
For power cables, I'd first look at Triode Wire Labs or Cullen Cables.  But if it were me, I'd seriously take a look at Mad Scientist cables.  Very reasonable and some unique technology that flies under the radar and gets very good reviews.  https...
how do you know if you need a dac ?
Why would you get out of vinyl?  I can't imagine going digital has been a sonic improvement.
Integrated amp for Nola boxer
Carl seems to favor ARC electronics (and Nordost cables) so I'd start there.  If you think ARC might be a little to detailed or not warm enough I'd look to VAC.  Best of luck.
VAC 160i SE vs Audio Research GSi75
If it's me, I'd get the speakers squared away first and then pick the amp.  What works best with the PSBs won't necessarily be best for your next speakers, unless you want to choose your next speakers based on the amp you have.
At what point is an external D/A converter warranted or beneficial
You sound like a great candidate for one of the newer multibit R2R non-oversampling (NOS) DACs. Many people find them to be more "analog" or "organic" sounding than the more prevalent single bit or delta sigma DACs. A couple options in the $2000 r...
Preamp Upgrade
You should look into Don Sachs SP14 preamp.  You could get his pre with all the upgrades for a lot less than $3500.
Thoughts on my New Rogue Rp-5 Preamp
At this price I'd also consider a used ARC Reference 5SE.  Here's a nice one for $5500, which seems like a nice bargain for a unit that retailed for $13k. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649516778-audio-research-reference-5se-mint/
Bi-wiring?
Best to get the rest of your system straight before worrying about biwiring. One thing I will say is that until you can justify spending money on doubling up on cables, you can get a good benefit from replacing stock jumper plates with some short ...
