The dumbest stereo experience ever!
OK this really is true. When I was a small kid I was given an AM/FM clock radio. I actually thought that I was supposed to switch it to AM in the morning and FM at night because I thought FM was really PM, only that mine said FM due to a problem w...
The dumbest stereo experience ever!
I knew someone who insisted his amp was the best because it went up to 11. Oh..wait ... that might have been a movie.
Looking for seperates under $5k~
Check out the Belles Statement line.

Ayone know the wattage used at a Rock concert?
It's a different world today. I don't think they even use separate amplifiers today, but rather Class D amps built into the speakers with DSP and equalization controlled through a computer network. Paul McCartney which I recently saw a few years a...
BSG - QOL Anyone still using theirs?
I just got one from Underwood ($999) and I absolutely love it!It makes my old CDs from the last century sound so much better.I'm not kidding, it's worth every penny.
Is there a way to improve the sound?
Mike Moffet is such a funny guy he would probably laugh at the auto-correct of his mane to Mike misfit. I'm also getting tired of some people saying vinyl is clearly superior to digital when they own $40,000 turntable setups and a $300 CD player.
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
Yes, Mitch is right! Why can't SR print the best direction on the fuse? Are they unable to keep them in line during manufacturing? Let's hear from all the users who have an opinion about the correct direction, and tell us what it is.
Is it really night and day
I have often found that audiophiles drop off the "in" from the front when they use the word significant.
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
OK, so I have been reading this wonderful thread, and a while back I had this idea. My fuses are of the smaller kind (20mm) and they just so happen to be exactly 4 Ga. in thickness. Home Depot sells 4 Ga. grounding wire which is solid core copper ...
Bryston BDP media server a good choice today?
The Aurender N100H is also very interesting. Has anyone compared these two equally priced units by listening?
Input impedance issue?
Put a tube buffer in between your preamp and the NTH crossover. The very high input impedance of the buffer will make it almost invisible to your preamp. I think the Musical Fidelity buffer in the square box has a 1 million ohm input imp. that you...
Klipsch heresy questions
They're fine, but compared to the CV speakers; the first thing you're gonna say is "Where's the bass!" Get a sub with them and you'll love it.
Schiit Yggdrasil DAC ??
Thanks... I guess I'm getting impatient.
Fake Audiophiles
No worries Mark, you are a true audiophile. Whether it's a blessing, or a curse is what we should be discussing.
