Aurrender N100H vs. A10 ? Thanks for those links. As it turns out, after 14 years I needed a new car. So my hi-fi budget will be curtailed for a while. I'm going to keep my eye on the N100h as well as the SOtM SMS 200 Ultra which looks interesting as well.John
Which audio component would you like Santa to place under the christmas tree for you? Wait!! I want those new giant Wilson Chronosomethings. Then I could sell them, buy a Ferrari and have lots of "chicks" hanging on my arm. OK maybe this gets deleted, but I did start with the speakers.Happy Holidays to all.
Aurender N100h vs. SOtM sms-200 Ultra Blindjim... you asked if my SSD was a network drive? It is a 1TB SSD with WAV and FLAC files on it that plugs directly into my Auraliti PK90 file player by USB connection in the rear. It would be used in the same way on the Aurender, or SOtM.Also m...
Aurrender N100H vs. A10 ? I'm really only interested in the N100h. I was just wondering if the A10 is a N100h with a built in DAC?Thanks
Yggy RCA Interconnects I had the same problem, but the Yggy has 2 sets of RCA outputs. I checked with Schiit and they said they were directly connected together in parallel. So put the left in one set and the right in the other. It works fine.
Tekton DIs or Legacy Focus SEs? I would think the Legacy Focus SE are way more expensive, unless you compare used to new DI. Either way, the Legacy is better than the DI. I have heard both. The DI are an OK full range for their price, but comparing them to the Focus SE is not re...
Power Conditioner Advice please... I wasn't sure, so I just checked the PS Audio site. Their old re generators put out balanced power, but the newer P-3,5,10 do not. Paul feels that balanced power is good, but not from a transformer. Anyway, I'm not looking to butt in here, but sin...

Sonic Tonic fom the Tweek Geek Ozzy... how would you compare the Sonic Tonic to those small copper resonator things? The ones you made from fly fishing parts. I only ask because I have always respected you opinion (especially on the BSG-QOL) I made some of those resonators, and...
Best Bang For The Buck I've Ever Spent When Underwoodhifi was selling out the BSG QOL units I picked one up. Without a doubt the biggest improvement in sound for the least amount of money.
Help... my turntable is alive! Group,Thanks for all the suggestions. I was playing records last night and again, the noise was gone. I'm now thinking the noise is record specific, or at least some records are a catalyst to the noise occurring. Either way I should point out that...
Help... my turntable is alive! A replacement belt is $170. Not exactly a trivial expense.
Help... my turntable is alive! Bondmap ... A very thoughtful idea, but I have checked twice. There is no sticky feel to the belt, or the platter anywhere. I could order a new belt, but I don't want to start down the money path until I know I'm at least on the correct path.Thank...
Help... my turntable is alive! OP here... It seems we are a bit off track. Does it really matter which side of the egg you crack?Upon further examination, it is not a record warp. I am still having the problem even with flat records. My cartridge is not bottoming out. My VTA is...
Help... my turntable is alive! Well, thank you all for those excellent thoughts. 1. I played a very flat thick 45 RPM record 12" and there was no "heartbeat" at all. Not faster, but rather gone.2. I checked the belt and it looks fine.I'm thinking it was a record warp. Since it ... |
