Equitech vs Furman Balanced Power Conditioner I would say the Furman I have is very well constructed and their technical support is excellent.
Equitech vs Furman Balanced Power Conditioner I live in the UK and use the Furman IT-REFERENCE 16E which seems to do a decent job.A while ago someone told me the Furman P-2300 IT E was better than the IT-Ref I have.

Does the Transport make a significant difference I find playing the CD disc with a good transport gives superior sound to the same CD ripped to a PC and played back with Jriver. I know other enthusiasts who experience the same result.
upgrade advice from a Linn LP12 Living in the UK and being a vinyl addict for over 40 years, I only started buying CDs relatively recently, the LP12 was the holy grail so to speak. I had a couple of LP12s and the design was good in it's day, I used it in the, then, classic naim ...
Wanting to simplify my system ...... I had a similar desire last year, I had a Bat 52se and ARC ref 2 phono. I managed to audition several alternatives and ended up with a used Dartzeel NHB 18 with built in phono.I have always liked tubes however the Dart improved on the sound of my ...
BAT preamp: Rex to Rex-2 upgrade I have used the 51se, 52se and Vkph10se phono. I do like BAT gear it is so well built and Victor was always a great help. BAT is not supported in the UK so I have had to move on.Sounds like you are really enjoying your upgrade well done on a good ...
Why so many linn lp12s for sale Daveyf I have not heard the most recent LP12, mine was 2004ish with lingo and ekos ii. I was disappointed that an Orbe fitted with an ekos outperformed my "renowned" dealer set up Linn as did a Roksan.I think the Linn is fine if you like the sound...
Why so many linn lp12s for sale The LP12 has had its day. I had a couple over a 20 year period. It does need regular attention which is not difficult if you know what to do.IMO it is now outclassed by better designs.

Kuzma Four Point compared to SME V-12 tonearm Hi Springsteen - I can only relate what I heard and a uk dealer as well. Maybe the LPs has improved since.
Kuzma Four Point compared to SME V-12 tonearm Yeah I thought that until I was able to adjust the azimuth. The kuzma arms don't seem to compromise on rigidity and are certainly better than sme.
Kuzma Four Point compared to SME V-12 tonearm I had the SME v standard size on a SME 20/2 TT. I now have a Kuzma XL4 TT, initially with a ref Stogi 313arm (12") . I compared the kuzma set up with the SME using a Benz LP ebony in both. The Kuzma was superior. I know this is the shorter sme arm...
Michell Gyro SE-what arm? I heard a Wilson Benesch Act arm on an Orbe with a Lyra cartridge and it sounded very good.
EMM Labs CDSA SE vs DCS Puccini Hi ours13I managed to borrow a Puccini+USB clock, for a couple of days to compare to my then ARC CD5. The Puccini was better but it was marginal and I did not buy it.I ended up with the playback MPS 5 second hand it is very good, the side by side ... |
