What's your experience with Channel Separation?
does this value even matter after say, 60 dB? That is comforting to know. When is more just a number to throw put there with no real audible value.
What's the point of reviewing?
how does one sort through what is available to draw salient, accurate, reliable conclusions upon which to act? Good question. As one audiophile’s wife said in exasperation "They all sound good, just pick one". And that is the saving grace of hi...

What's the point of reviewing?
Good question and IMHO not much other than entertainment. It’s more like advertising under the guise of "information". They just confuse the issue with insecurities and doubt. Reviews can be good to: 1) Let you know a product is out there. 2) B...

A rare opportunity (or at least I think it's rare)
Sooo . . . will he be buying one? I think there would be more audiophiles if they realized they could have sound this good for a few thousand dollars.

Top two most important sound qualities

Storage boxes. Can I discard high end shipping boxes, and still sell in the future?
Can I discard high end shipping boxes, and still sell in the future? Yes, but you will get 10 cents on the dollar instead of 15 cents on the dollar.
Why do almost all women today hate home audio?
First because unlike men, something in their brain does not ’click" when it comes to enjoying music more because of the better sound quality of a hi-end stereo. They can hear it, but just don’t care. Second they aren’t into "equipment", whether c...
Food: What does the typical audiophile eat?
No offense but this is the most absurd question I’ve come across. Then you kick the thread off with the most boring food, bagels. You’re telling us you eat raisin bagels sometimes but always go back to plain bagels for long term enjoyment. Sweet ...
