Looking for a Tweeter for an Energy RC22. Its a Reference Connoisseur
Search the web. There used to be someone who would rebuilt these. That was about 5-6 years ago, or so, so good chance it is not an option any more. You may need to find instructions for a tweeter/cross-over change. I helped a friend change the twe...
Subwoofers and Phase Question For You Sub Experts
I am not familiar with the JL subs room correction so I can't comment on what it will do or not do, but some general thoughts:at the expense of some stage depth, width and image dimensionality. Placing the subs a few inches forward of the front p...
Time to buy a class D amp?
I was thinking more of snubbers for diodes (transformers), but realistically any circuit with reactive elements.  The output impedance of the amplifier is part of the overall electrical circuit and hence the total electro-mechanical assembly and h...
Recommendation for an audiophile speaker cord that is not "bright"?
What "interference" in stranded wires? Is it possible your tests were flawed and hence your conclusions not accurate? .... or your tests were very specific to the wires, speakers, etc you were using at the time?

Oh come on Clearthink, that troll is even lower than your trolling standards. Now I get that somehow I have triggered you into trolling me, but I suggest perhaps you may wish to show some respect for other forum members and not troll every post I ...
My stereo receiver is a little too bright. Can a cable help me out?
I am not "average", I am Superhuman!! My words have far more value than anyone else's!This post is a blatant attack on so many people on this forum if not most people. It may come as a surprise that there are many of us that have been designing aud...
Why Do Schumann Resonators Work?
Hey Clearthink. Thanks for the post. I needed some new material for my book. This is a peach!!
Why Do Schumann Resonators Work?
One should always trust the guy who has never designed any RF equipment and has never designed antennas for their RF knowledge. I know that is the path most companies who do RF products take ...geoffkait19,096 posts12-27-2019 4:56pmYou’re barking ...

Tell me what the resistance change will be and how that relates to the ops speaker impedance in the mids to upper base.unfairlane102 posts12-27-2019 6:57pm" The change in resistance of the cable will be minimal from the ones you have described so ...
Recommendation for an audiophile speaker cord that is not "bright"?
If you are putting your cables into any sort of connector that is not spring loaded then you should never tin the ends. Solder flows under pressure and as soon as you tighten it, it starts to loosen.

Can someone please tell me how CdS cells work and whether they are passive or active devices?

Must have long arms from patting yourself on the back so much.Ever notice people with serious cred in this industry, the likes of Pass, Cardas, Toole, etc. never claim to have superior hearing/listening skills?

Neither your lack of reading comprehension, nor your laziness to actually read my posts in this thread, nor your lack of understanding of amplifier/speaker and cable interaction in limited cases justifies your childish and ignorant post. It says m...
Why Do Schumann Resonators Work?
There we go. More childish insults. YOU have 0 clue about antenna theory, antenna design, narrow band coil antenna, or anything related. Therefore you keep spouting the same ignorant nonsense about full wavelength antennas and what it takes to "pu...
Why Do Schumann Resonators Work?
The issue is your total lack of anything approaching knowledge w.r.t. antenna theory. Literally 0 it appears.  That is why you keep making personal attacks but have 0 details in your posts. Your personal attacks are childish and show some deep sea...
