H E L P !! Network issues with Teac NT 505?
@big_greg    Do you have the most recent firmware in the NT-505? I'm not sure. I think so but I don't remember. I may have done that in the original setup. As for the cable, it may be worthwhile to get a new Cat 7 or 8. Also, the earlier pro...
H E L P !! Network issues with Teac NT 505?
Thanks  I have an extender which has an Ethernet connection near the Teac.  I am only running Car 5 and have wondered if Cat 7 is needed. Also I have considered a better extender but Its a total guess..

ANOTHER SCAM ALERT
Many banks offer Zelle as a service. In my case I had to set it up through my bank account. I've bought using it but never sold. I received an email requesting $300 to establish an account bc he was using a business acct I don't understand.  W...
Decoupling cartridges from tone arms
Try the one made by Origin Live. It is much cheaper., $35 I think. I haven’t tried it but its on my list. Does it work? I don’t know. But $35 is affordable and OL makes arms that punch way above their price point. And they are well thought out.  ...
Audio nonsense
@noske So you’ve had better? Yes. The Harmon Kardon 730 the Lux replaced was much better as has been most every other piece I have had since. The mids and highs were good but no bass line... just a thump of the bass drum
Audio nonsense
WTH R NFT? BTW I had a top tier Luxman receiver in the 80's. I hated it. Sounded awful. So apparently Luxman is Audio Nonsens too. Unlike the nonsensical posters here,  I actually experienced the Luxman.
Audio nonsense
Thanks @grannyring . I've looked at it but haven't joined yet. You are correct about this forum. Used to be among the best. Now, just a bunch of people who have no real commitment to even try for the best they can afford. just a bunch of whiners. ...
Dedicated Circuits - Subpanel importance?
@izjjzi  Hey, I'm not trying to ta;lk you out of it. My thought is that if it is illegal to do, then you have just waved a big flag by trying to get the permit. I' with Oldhvymec about permits.BTW I did my own too, but its legal
Dedicated Circuits - Subpanel importance?
Before you go to pull a permit for the electrical, you need to know IF you, the homeowner, can legally do the electrical work in your state. If not, you cannot even get the permit. Some states require a licensed electrician to do any and all work. ...
Roger Miller anyone?
I liked it as a kid. Pretty catchy tunes.
Do you trust your system?
@dain  I luckily found a set of equipment and a room setup that if a song is off, it’s likely recorded that way. I trust my system to do a decent job.  I wonder do others get to a point where they are more critical of mastering techniques than s...
6H30 replacement
I am far from a tube expert. But I have a CJ preamp which uses the 6H30P. I have been told that there are no replacements for that tube. So, indeed, if one is available, I'd love to know about it. I've also read that the DR's offer a subtle change...
Would you pay more than 25% of MSRP for a used cartridge?
+1 @jjss49  Though I am thankful for those who won't buy used cartridges or tubes, etc. BTW isn't a demo also used?
Bought powerful/expensive Amp+Speakers but plan to use an old preamp , am I crazy?
GTG =. Got to go It may be alright for the time.
