Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Story of The Clash, DJ cassette. Best of Grateful Dead, DJ cassette from India. Oh, my!
@geoffkait

My comment was really aimed at those who consider the humble cassette to be an inferior and flawed medium.
Not at those who are already in the know.

😇😇

“For this medium.” That’s pretty funny. I can’t give my CDs away fast enough. 😬 Nice to see you think cassettes have potential.
"Gaucho is a monster good record. Maybe their best."

No argument here. Absolutely superb!
Last one of the night will be Peter Frampton live. Another one of my favorite albums. queued up for tomorrow is Eric Clapton Pilgrim. Have a great night everyone!

You know it. I love SD. Donald Fagen Nightfly is one of my all time favorite recordings. I just recieved a rare copy of Morph the Cat right before Xmas. That made my holiday.
I just read your thread on that Stereo5 and tbh that's terrible, I would be sending them all back.
Not acceptable at all after you have spent your very hard earned cash to receive sub standard goods.

The Yes Album 45rpm Box Set.  Played the first record, sound is excellent, but record is severely warped!  Not good for a 59.95 two record set.
Savoy Brown, Getting to the Point. Cassette. Is it live or is it Memorex?
Uriah Heep.s songs, Best of The Doors, Sibelius Last movement of First Sympthony and some chosen Arabic music.
The Real McCaw, Graham Parker (cassette) and Disraeli Gears, clamshell case paper label.
I borrow CD's from the library and stumbled across "Beat the Champ" by The Mountain Goats.  It's kind of a concept album about pro wrestling but it's just filled with lyrical, catchy tunes--some of which I'd use to demo my system.  Very musical and different enough to hold my interest.

Track 5, Spying Glass...

You live in the city
You stay by yourself
You avoid all wickedness
Still some people they brand you yeah
Just because you are rasta

You move to the country
You live in the hills
You avoid all company
When you check them in the new spying glass
They want to know all your business

You live in the city
You mind your own business
What you see you don't see
But some people they always see
They never mind their own business

You move to the country
You live in the hills
You think you're far from the wicked
When you check it in your spying glass
They want to know rasta business
