most beautiful (looking) speakers
There are out there many beautiful speakers and there are speakers which I feel are beautiful because I like their sound quality (eg ATC SCM40).  However for speakers which would grace any living/listening room or even improve the room decor are u...
What is it I'm failing to grasp?
Live music in the past was far from perfect and most artists would not take the risk of producing a 'live album' as technical things with others usually went wrong during the performance until Deep Purple produced 'Made In Japan' album and everyth...
Share albums where EVERY SINGLE song is good
When it comes to Live albums - Strangers In The Night - UFO For me every song was 'on it' and is considered by many as one of the best live 'Rock Albums'  The band had quite few lead guitarists but on this Album it was MIchael Schenker and he was...

Biggest audio hoaxes
Burning in of components (over extended periods) seems to divide opinions.  Usually the people who hold the opinion that burning in of components is all nonsense or psychology at work.  Often they will quote measurements and basic principles how t...
Lively, fast & open sounding integrated under 3k?
Try  ATC SIA 2-150 originally created for ATC speakers (power hungry)" The ATC produces a spine-tingling connection between the listener and the music, not just with rock, but whatever your musical poison."
Am I too big of a jerk, even for audiogon?
Full Moon is coming, maybe a heated discussion about cables....?
Am I too big of a jerk, even for audiogon?
Erik - I think you are fishing for compliments, maybe insecurity or just plain vanity on your part...?
ATC SCM 40 mk2 vs Salk Song3 Encore
Atc SCM40's Mk2 are wonderful speakers, for me they seem to produce sound out of nothing, maybe an advantage from a sealed box design...
