Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Been listening to the recently disbanded Seattle-area vocal jazz group Groove for Thought the last couple of days. I especially love their renditions of "Lush Life" and "Spain." https://youtu.be/qCmvtG2K-m8 https://youtu.be/GjFjel6TSBM |
Went deep with some St Paul & The Bone Breakers last night (both “Half The City” and “Sea of Noise) - such a cool southern soul vibe. Followed those with Yola’s “Walk Through Fire” - yet another talented young blues/soul artist from across the pond. Capped the session with Nils Lofgren “Every Breath” - I always seem to go to his work when trying out new equipment. So rich and robust but you all know that... |
