Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Mary Stallings, "Fine And Mellow"    vinyl LP
Ozzy Osbourne, "Ordinary Man"   CD

When I saw David Ten's pick, it reminded me I had a Mary Stallings LP from around 1990-93 that I had not heard for quite a while.  I went to two extremes between a Jazz singer and Ozzy.  Thanks david_ten for reminding me.
Believe it or not, I found a used CD of Cole Porter and have been listening to the music of my parents and grandparents.  Kind of relaxing.

Iris Dement’s entire recorded output, front to back. I saw her last night at The Aladdin Theater, and was once again was graced with the songs and singing---as well as wit and sense of humor---of one of the small handful of greatest musical artists of out times. She is ignored by the vast majority of even hardcore music lovers, including most of you. Your loss.
Soundtrack from A Clockwork Orange to get the blood flowing this bright morning.
Mudang Rock - Simon Barker/Henry Kaiser/Bill Laswell/Rudresh Mahanthappa. A interesting mashup of styles. More jazz/free jazz than rock.

Reverberations - Blue Stereo Mix. Thanx Boxer, a keeper.

It Takes a Thief (2010)
I did not mean that was the name of the album. I just meant that it is a thrilling album .
Condition is generally responsible for lower prices. Old audiophile axiom 🤗
Marcus Miller  ---  The Ozell Tapes: The Official Bootleg - Live  (Smooth / Crossover Jazz)
Black Sabbath SACD care of Sanctuary Records...UIGY-9094

Pretty spendy now though if you can find one for sale even.
The first Black Sabbath album is a study in recording technique and sound quality. The CD on the Castle label is absolutely incredible. If you don’t agree you have system issues.
@stereo5
Black Sabbath in SACD...... really ?..WOW.
I am surprised that has been made in SACD
Thanx Boxer!

Nick Cave - From Her to Eternity
Pere Ubu - Dub Housing. A classic in its own, highly unique way...

Albums are stylistically different, but really have the same “angst”. 😁
