Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

As if the Eddie Kramer remasters of Hendrix in the 90s weren’t good enough. Hendrix family remasters.
Oh, I get it, now. The Eddie Kramer 2010 remasters are super compressed. Way to go, Eddie!
bdp24, You're welcome (it really is a great album)

Candye Kane / Guitar'd & feathered
Boxer.

Candye Kane is one heck of a story all on her own, never mind the music.

The Toughest Girl Alive indeed.

Or not now sadly to be accurate.

😞😞😞😞
uber,
I just read the wiki page on her. I had no idea. What a great singer & it looks like she was trying to do some good. Bummer she is gone.
Pink Floyd, “Wish You Were Here”   Analog Productions SACD
The MC5, “Kick Out The Jams”  on vinyl
@uberwaltz - Where are you in Kentucky? Curious, that's the state of my birth and my youth. I now live across the Ohio River, in Cincinnati.
@reubent
Home of the Corvette, Bowling Green
Yea I know you are in Cincy, i spent many years working in Cincy myself, used to catch first flight out of Jax direct to Cincy and be at work before 9am.
Actually liked it that much we used to spend vacation weeks there too.
Go figure but thats when the theme parks like Kings Island rides had teeth!

Now they are neutered but the glory days of The Beast and The Son of The Beast will never be forgotten!
@uberwaltz - Was going to invite you over for a beer if you were working nearby. Maybe some time in the future......
Appreciate the sentiment Reubent.
Shame I am not closer but some other time maybe..
Blue Light 'Til Dawn -- Cassandra Wilson (such a well/quality recorded album)
Deerhoof / Friend opportunity

david, "Thunderbird" from Cassandra is also very good & well recorded.
Two Against Nature- Steely Dan. Possibly the best produced album I've ever heard. Maybe even bordering on over-produced.
Beethoven cello sonatas.  Last night was Mahler 3, not his best, but sonically fun.
