Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs: Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma". I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?
Joe Pug / Windfall (I needed something easier to listen to after "Our Brother The Native") That album is good but requires to much attentive listening for a late Saturday night. Made me tired (LOL)
Karen Elson / Double Roses I picked this one up yesterday. This is her latest & very good, IMO every bit as good as her earlier album "The Ghost Who Walks".
Reverberation / Blue stereo music If you like slow spacey drug induced music (I do), you'll love this. It reminds me a lot of "Spiritualized" & at times "Bardo Pond" or "Acid Mothers Temple", when they slow down.
@uberwaltz - I love it! The Tubes - "Young and Rich". I'm a big fan of the band. Their live album - "What do you Want From Live" has been in my semi-regular rotation since 1978...
Young and Rich - The Tubes
Young and Rich Everything you desire Light bulbs with shades in every room
And work is play Nothing must come to hard It comes in the mail Most every day
I could respect a man who had it all And he'd toss the ball away I know I'm not that kind I wouldn't mind to Have a chance thrown my way
heheh...thought I post a pic of me at Daytona Octoberfest ’17 as my avatar. That and Leesberg been my personal get away from the norm, for a long time...*grinz
