bleske

Great album , I saw him for the first time in the early 70's at the Quite Knight in Chicago .

I have almost all of his albums !

@vair68robert Yep, it’s a good one, and actually pretty good SQ for a very small label. I picked it up in the early/mid-70’s for probably a dollar or so used. Now, rare and a bit pricey. Lucky to have it. I think it’s better than Circle Round The Sun, which was basically the same LP redone in a ‘pro’ studio a year later.

I have all Leo’s stuff through the 70’s on vinyl, a couple newer on CD, but did pick up his newest on vinyl, Noon with Mike Gordon.

A huge Leo fan.

I saw him in the mid-70’s at a small club. Incredible. You swear there had to be 3-4 guitars playing. Amazing.

If you like Cowboy Junkies, Shivaree, Lana Del Rey spend $15 and take a chance on this album

Great soundtrack, Greg! For me it's car streaming music, loud and windblown

George Szell conducts Schumann - The Four Schumann Symphonies. The Cleveland Orchestra. Columbia Odyssey 3LP box 1971

The War Of The Gargantuas soundtrack-Akira Ifukube

Have always loved the music of this classic Japanese monster movie.

Would love to tell you more..but the words get stuck in my throat...

Yasmin Williams   Urban Driftwood

If you like John Fahey and Leo Kottke

then you might like the guitar playing of Ms. Williams .

Antal Dorati conducts Respighi - The Pines Of Rome & The Fountains Of Rome. Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra. Mercury 1963

Another one of a handful of records I’ll only spin if I know it will be uninterrupted.
Comes A Time has special meaning to me. I consider it one of the best songs ever written.

Jerry Garcia-Reflections 1976 Round Records

Zdeněk Košler conducts Dvořák - Symphony No. 7 in D Minor. The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Crossroads 1967 (thus the cover art)

@sbank Spencer, definitely one of my favorite soundtracks, so many memories from my youth.  I could do without the 2nd record though.

Lenny Kravitz - Mama Said. I was going to kick back today and listen to a few records but my vintage PC decided to blow its power supply, so that didn't happen. Hopefully I can get one or two records in before bedtime.
