Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
@noromance

This is how you know your Decca is tracking perfectly. Super.
Please elaborate.  If, when not tracking perfectly, what might you hear?
I mean besides the obvious like jumps or ghost traces from an adjacent groove.  Thanks.

+1 for Fleetwood Mac  - Penguin

Beatles Rubber Soul
1965 Capitol Mono pressing.
Dudes best thread on audiogon

Streaming Dylan - Springtime in NY

much deeper insight into Infidels…. deep…..fantastic
Original Cast, Rex Harrison, Julie Andrews – My Fair Lady (Columbia Masterworks 1959)
Re: Dylan

Been thinking of filling in gaps in my Dylan section by purchasing a box set.  Does anyone that has or has heard the records in the big white mono box have any comment on SQ?  Thanks

@noromance Brian - I think that Junior Wells would sound sublime on your system…..
@spiritofradio Re tracking. When the opera singer hits E over high C and it sounds clean and free.

subtleties then

The St. Louis Ragtimers – The St. Louis Ragtimers Volume 2 (Audiophile 1962)

Great music. Sweet dynamic recording. Black backgrounds. That's all that matters. Probably using black plate tubes. Listened to same era recording from the mid 80s and it was grey and mushy by comparison. How did they mess it up?
James Davis And The Paddock Jazz Band – Burnin' New Orleans Dixieland (Shalom 1970?)
Steve,
A BIG +1 for Clem Snide! Good to see they released another album

LOW / Hey What
Fresh from the LRS. A big thank you to Jim for this one.
Parke Frankenfield And His Dixieland All-Stars, Maxine Sullivan – Jazz at Green Pond, Vol 1 (Ekrap 1985)

Signed copy! Surprisingly good stuff.
Played a few tracks from Aja after a spin in the US. Nope. Still don't like Steely Dan.
From the free box... French Kiss - Panic. This is a pretty clean promo copy. It's 70s disco and not too bad. The jacket also has a copy of Bob Welch - French Kiss in it.
Doris Day – Hooray For Hollywood (Columbia 1958) {selected songs}

Lovely recording. Authoritative versions of Hollywood classics.

Wooden Wand – Death Seat (Young God 2010)

Great album. Nice autographed copy.
+1 for Wooden Wand. That is probably my favorite from them.

Oneida / Caesars column
Monk-Palo Alto Impulse 2020
Wayne Shorter-Speak No Evil BN 2020

I also have a vinyl copy of Rough Mix headed my way from a discogs transaction. Definitely bad influences here on this thread.
Well, got seller to adjust price on Excitable Boy

Will trade ?  for surplus Steely Dan

@tgilb,

Valerie June  - The Moon and Stars

A lot of love for her around here.   Saw her in concert just before the lockdown. The whole place on our feet crowding down close to the stage.
FWIW, That last album I played (Oneida) is one of the best recorded albums I've ever heard... On "Rough Trade" no less, go figure?

The Golden Palominos / Blast of silence
@spiritofradio.. Yes, Valerie June is definitely special. I haven't seen her live but discovered her for the first time on Austin City Limits back in 2014. One of my favorite shows.

Junior Wells ‎– It’s My Life Baby (Vangard 1966)

Last one tonight for Big J. Time flies when you’re having fun. Back to the slog tomorrow.
@noromance
I would be very interested in securing a clean copy of Steely Dan, "Katy Lied"  Please let me know if you have that and if you would want to sell it.

Jim, thank you for asking about my sisters health.  Well, she has her wits about her.  But physically, it's not good.  She looks like a rescue from a concentration camp.  I don't know if there is a turnaround even possible.  Time will tell.

P.J Harvey  "Uh Huh Her"

Pink Floyd  "The Final Cut"

So nice to hear excellent SQ after none for the past week.  And the music quality is exceptional, as well.
