I think you guys would like this. "Kind of" alt country from a guy that spent his life as the leader of one of the loudest rock bands (Swans) of all time. 
Cataldo. Great band out of Seattle that I’ve been listening to for a few weeks now. Gilded Oldies is a great album to start with

Hey @slaw & @boxer12 Thanks for recommending Joan Shelley. I really like her. My history shows I’d listened to some of her early work but honestly I didn’t have her in memory. I think I like her latest album best but it’s all great. Now have to get it on vinyl and very much looking forward to that sound. The Hem refer is right on Tim - in connection to her latest studio album. She even looks a little like Sally .... Thanks record dudes.

Unbelievably good SQ!
A couple of years ago we saw this film in the concert hall here with the Oregon Symphony and a local University choral group (great stories and sounds there) performing the score live along with the movie. It was a good trick. Probably done by every major symphony across the land - and fun but didn’t sound anything like this record does in my living room.
