Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
@noromance .

Never heard anybody else bar myself here ever mention The Pentangle.

Great stuff 👍
Mary Lou Williams - Presents Black Christ of the Andes ( Smithsonian Folkways )
Eva Cassidy - Nightbird ( 3 LP and worth it IMO ) !!!!

Take me to the River !!!

Linda Ronstadt   Prisoner in Disguise

CTI Summer Jazz at the Hollywood Bowl  1972

Little Feat  Waiting for Columbus

Stones  Let it Bleed

Jackson Browne  Solo Acoustic 2

Robert Plant  Carry Fire

Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughan  In Session

BB King - In London (ABCX 1971)

Roy Harper - Come Out Fighting Ghengis Smith (CBS 1967)
Clarence Gatemouth Brown Jr. - San Antonio Ballbuster [1949-59 recordings](Red Lightning 1974 mono)

Shame the old recordings weren't just a little better but man this guy rocks the house with this blues and big band jazz crossover R&B.

Tom Paxton ‎– The Compleat Tom Paxton Recorded Live (Elektra 1971)

Tom Paxton ‎– New Songs For Old Friends (Reprise 1973)

Peter, Paul & Mary - Album (Warner 1966)

Thinking I need just keep to these music forums as there just is no getting through to people like Chak or Mijo and it frustrates the pee out of me to see such garbage posted.

Sorry, rant over.

On with the music!
@uberwaltz Yeah, soft spot for that English folky stuff. I must play more of it.
Tom Waits And Crystal Gayle‎ - One From The Heart (CBS 1982)

Love this album. One of my reference sound check albums. Played it scores of times. It still sounds (almost) new. A classic. The phono amp component upgrade I did is paying dividends.
Fairport Convention ‎- Rosie (Island 1973)

John Renbourn ‎- The Nine Maidens (Making Waves 1985)
@noromance

I just bought that Fairport Convention album along with Close to the Wind.

Not had chance to play either yet.
@reubent .

Holy smoke.

This Drama album is stupendous!

If the remaster is better than this I have to have it!
Yeah, @noromance. The SQ of One From The Heart is exceptional, audiophile quality. Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle: now THERE’S an odd couple! And Waits Frank's Wild Years, one of my three favorites of his.
@z32kerber  - Welcome to AudiogoN and welcome the the "What's on your turntable tonight?" thread. Keep 'em coming.
Uber - well, I understand.... and we all have those here that tweak our sensibilities....

Latin - Don’t Let the B ‘s Get ya Down
Roll On Ruby ...... Lindisfarne.

Loving the QL-A7 moved into my second system, much better than the El cheapo Pioneer that was there previously.
Outfitted with a NOS Glanz Esoter Cart it sounds magnificent.
The Band - Northern Lights - Southern Cross

Beach Boys - Endless Summer - poor SQ but brings back memories  of summers in PA.   No beach but we did have a lake!
@tomic601 It's a modified Croft 25R with Shuguang 12AX7LS black tubes, Clarity cap and some bulk foil resistors.
See my profile.
@bdp24 You can't go wrong with Waits. Even when SQ is iffy, the muse is solid and fun.
