Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
@boxer12 !!!! Dude Trembling Bells, previously unknown to me !!!! How wonderful, love this thread for guided docent discoveries
Waking up With the House on Fire ... Culture Club.

Yes really.. lol , Boy George.
You’re welcome tomic. I like there Irish folk style

Rolling Stones / Exile on main street
Rolling Stones / Some girls
Phish / Fuego
Had to get my new wave/ romantics urge fulfilled tonight.

Don't you want me .. The Human League.
Take on me ... Aha.

Both 12" 45rpm e.p cuts.
The SQ is PDG as there is a lot of room to cut the grooves on a 12" compared to a 7" of basically the same songs.
I'll be getting my 4 Dire Straits MFSL albums later this week! Looking forward to hearing them.
Hoping my local audio crack dealer ordered the Dire MFSL in decent quantities..... a call is in order
Somewhat in arrears...

Willie Nelson - Stardust, immaculate Japanese pressing
Fleetwood Mac - S/T, so so quality
Greg Allman - Laid Back - Analogue Productions
Rickie Lee Jones - It’s Like This - AP 45 rpm, superb !!!!
I’ll do the same “catching up” .  Tonight my old friend Jon is here from out of town and during our long conversation about the music of our mutual association I’ve spun
Keith Jarrett - Sun Bear (1st record)
Shai Maestro- The Dream Thief
Oregon - Crossing
and now

CSN

The Band
Stagefright
MOFI
of you want to pass an idle hour so, try to get a voice activated service to play The Band, all you get is swing and big band unless you specify a song album etc
Hey Greg
Was it yourself who said earlier that your brother or a friend had bought the nova iii phono?
If so did you get any feedback on it yet?
Thx
Uber, I have a Nova Phonomena, the original, which was a step up from the Phonomena - it has a battery.  I had two of them and sold one.  I kind of wish I had kept it.  I don't know anyone with the Phonomena III.
Uber, no worries! We were chatting about the Phonomena, but I don't recall discussing the III.
LOL @j_damon, kinda like trying to find somewhere to buy Music on Vinyl.  A truly unfortunate choice for a label name.
Hey, can anybody comment on the new dire straits pressings? Especially the first album?  Played my O/P last night and it sounded thin, especially in the outer grooves.
  • @uber it was me, Brother in law has a loaner III coming from Garth at Musical Surroundings, he has the Linear Power Supply also with a II now. I will evaluate when he gets it. Stay tuned!
@reubent catch the movie also, it has a fantastic duet version of Stones with Patti ... really wish that was on the album as I am sure do they...
Anybody got the new and final Leonard Cohen ???  Man that one is going to hurt
@tomic601 ,

Did you ever come to any final impressions on the Chord Huei?
.........................................................................

Peter Frampton Band "All Blues"
@slaw - yes I did ! Cold it absolutely sucks, let it warm up for day, then left it on thereafter. I did isolate the el cheapo wallwart power supply to a different circuit. Small size, front mounted controls w lights for various loading settings are effective and handy. Compared to NOVA II on battery with Lyra Delos, they are close. I would give the better more defined , tonality in bass and treble and air to the NOVA, better liquidity in midrange to Chord. The Chord does better at larger 2D image but gives up some depth to NOVA.
i will continue my search... but in the under $1.5 k range SS certainly a contender
Blicher Hemmer Gadd - S/T the 33 not the rare Brinkmann sponsored 45 rpm version, but excellent none the less...,
