Hey @noromance,

So, let me have it! What are your impressions? I can take it.
Concrete Blonde - "Mexican Moon" - Gonna listen to side one of the double LP, then retire for the night. Got an early morning bike ride and need some good sleep....
from "All The World's A Stage" sides 2 & 3...needed two rounds of flattening.

This is an OP, easy to tell because of one lp is sides 1 & 4 the other is sides 2 & 3"
Gonna crack open the RSD Pink Floyd  "A Saucerful of Secrets" /mono/RSD.

watch out!
re-listened to "Slipstream"
…………………………………...
"Love Over Gold"  from the Studio Albums Box Set
The above lp = SQ is off the charts!

Harry Nilsson "Duit On Mon Dei" OP/RCA

Bruce Springsteen "The River"  1980/barcode
Bought quite an eclectic ( for me) collection today.

First up.

Aztec Two Step S/T.
The Montrose 1st album - Remastered and expanded version is  a relatively new release 2017. it is a 2 album gatefold album. The 1st album is the remix of the original album. The 2nd album is studio out takes of studio songs that some have never been released. The remix sounds very good.
Found quite a bit of jazz and such at my usual flea markets this weekend. Spent my afternoon listening to my finds

John Coltrane - Blue Train
Thelonious Monk - Brilliant Corners
Dee Dee Sharp - All The Hits
mikes Davis - Nefertiti

Lots of relatively obscure long-time favorites being listed, leading me to play these later tonight:

Aztec Two-Step
Miles Davis - Nefertiti
Santana - Caravanserai

Thanks gang!
John Hiatt - "Bring the Family"

John Hiatt - Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Ry Cooder - Electric Guitar
Jim Keltner - Drums
Nick Lowe - Electric Bass

What a lineup!
Yes indeed reubent! In my Top 3 Super Group category, the other two being Rockpile (of which Nick Lowe was also a member) and The Traveling Wilburys. I got to see and hear John, Ry, Nick, and Jim live, on a sound stage in Burbank at an invitation-only industry event to promote the Little Village album. They performed "Lipstick Sunset" off Bring The Family, and Ry’s guitar solo in that song was the single most mind-blowingly great musical moment of my entire life. And I saw The Beatles, Hendrix, and The Who with Keith Moon ;-) .
What a day!  Chores caught up, heat wave made me stay inside, so just went down into the basement and listened to my recent finds:
