@bslon    +1  Santana  Abraxas is one of the few great 1970's Classic Rock albums with Audiophile SQ with an OG pressing. Never heard the MF 1 Step or any other MF versions. Might be time to replay since my last playback was 7/24/22.

The One-Step of Abraxas is breathtaking!  I have all (3) of the MOFI copies.  The One-Step, the original MOFI (back in 2008) and the new 2024 version.  GREAT album!

Dr. John - Dr. John's Gumbo, Analog Productions Atlantic 75 Series No 000059

Bad Company - Burnin' Sky, Analog Productions Atlantic 75 Series No 000059

pulled out original pressing "Famous Blue Raincoat",\....forgot how wonderful it sounded!!

Sinéad O'Connor – The Lion And The Cobra (Ensign 1987)

16 Horsepower ‎– Sackcloth ’N’ Ashes (A&M 1996)

The Coterie - A Swing To Folk (Emerald Gem 1969)

Roger Waters - The Lockdown Sessions (Legacy 2023)

Suzanne Vega - Solitude Standing (A&M 1987)

Wooden Wand - Death Seat (Young God 2010)

Count Basie & Dizzy Gillespie - The Gifted Ones (Pablo 1979)

Nice choices.  I like that Sinead O’Connor album and the 16 Horsepower album too.  I particularly like 16 Horsepower’s second album “Low Estate.”

Yeah, I saw 16HP a few years ago. DEE wasn’t on form, unfortunately. The Denver Grab on Low Estate is awesome.

Bought the SOC album from herself when it was released. She refused to autograph it.

Robert Palmer-"Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley"

Only Santana/Armstrong were previously played. Abraxas sounded better on my Goldring Legacy than my current Phasemation PP 200. Many variables in play but the Phasemation has more transparancy.

Elton John - Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player, Universal International Music B. V. LP

Janos Starker, cellist with Antal Dorati conducting the London Symphony Orchestra - Dvorak-Cello Concerto in B Minor, Opus 104 and Bruch-Kol Nidrei, Opus 47, Mercury Living Presence Speakers Corner LP
