I just happened to be streaming some of Tobacco City "Horses".....a new to me band.
Reminds me a lot of TFBB. Put it in my Amazon cart as a pre-order.
I also never heard of Tobacco City. I listened to a few songs on Qobuz and they do indeed sound like the Burrito Bros. Thanks for the heads up.

@mofimadness
There was a short period when Diverse Records had some quality pressings of quality artists.
@slaw...yes. I have a couple of Richard Thompson, Joan Baez, Alison Krauss, Rickie Lee Jones and all the Cowboy Junkies titles. Not sure what happened to the label? They were very good.

Cowboy Junkies had a series of 5 lps that were released on Diverse Records as a box and separately as I recall. I bought a few of that series separately. If I recall correctly, the pressing quality slowly became noticeably of lesser quality at that time period
It was called "The Nomad Series". I’m a HUGE Cowboy Junkies fan. Seen them live many times. Had a big crush on Margo back in the day. Pretty sure I have everything they’ve ever released on vinyl.
Yeah, Nomad. Nice man!
I remember my favorite being the album dedicated to Vic Chesnutt.
"Demons' was that title. Volume 2 in the series, I believe.
There was one album in that series that was pretty heavy for them. That may have been Demons? But no matter it was/is some great music.

Here’s what The Absolute Sound said about "Demons":
"Quite possibly Demons is the most haunting, depressing, and emotionally desperate music the band has ever created—which, by the way, is saying something."
