Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Paul Desmond, featuring Jim Hall - “Bossa Antigua.”

A 1965 Canadian pressing that sounds wonderful for being nearly as old as I am!

@slaw    Thx for the reply. I aways mention SQ of an album(played) to help inform a potential buyer. We only have so much space on our shelves.

@dayglow , I purposefully leave that out, for potential further discussion.

I think our passion should be a sought out interest.

Those of us who provide personal experience should be awarded with passionate interest.

@slaw    I understand your point. I rarely comment on content due to its subjective nature. Sound quality is much more objective and IMO could be helpful. I wish more posters would comment on SQ.

SQ is, IMO subjective based on our audio friend’s personal systems There is a common tie...passion for music

IMO, content is the main factor

Queen-The Game Side 1 SQ*

Mannfred Mann's Earth Band-Watch Side 1 SQ*

Fleetwood Mac-Mirage Side 1 SQ Audiophile

Dave Brubeck-Jackpot Side 2

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers-Long After Dark Side 1

Al Stewart-Time Passages Side 1

Stevie Ray Vaughan-Soul To Soul Side 1

Al Jarreau-Heart's Horizon Side 2

All 8 albums have NOT been previously played. Purchased about 2 dozen albums from a recent garage/yard sale! None of the albums had below average SQ but was disappointed with the SQ of Time Passages(could be my copy).

Barcode/reissue

sounds better to me than the MFSL..errr, not better but much more enjoyable. Not usually a good idea to bring more emphasis on an imperfect recording.
