The biggest Hales Transcendence 8 which I love have all replacement drivers if ever needed they weigh 160 pounds each, the smallest Tannoy minis in my bedroom which I’m currently using 11 pounds each sound phenomenal. The Hales for me are a never sell speaker. A lot of people have never even heard of them I also have a pair of Hales rev threes that weigh about 96 pounds. I use them in the home theater Hales 3,s for the front Hales transcendence T-1 center it weighs 120 lbs and Hales rev 1,s for rears and rear back
Salk Sound G25 Subwoofers. Two of them, weighing 192 lbs each and beautifully finished in mahogany to match Salon 2’s. Best built and sounding subs I have ever heard. They are so heavy, I’m not sure how Jim and his team managed to handle them during the difficult process of installing the mahogany veneer, without damaging them…
