What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report
I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

Hello U. Well, I’m envious of course. Closest I’ll ever get to hearing Rory live is the concert film, Irish Tour ’74. Well worth watching if you haven’t. Audio is kinda disappointing on the DVD, however. Also spent time with Blueprint yesterday. Eclipse ... Journey. And how this music is getting to my speakers is a journey for sure!. Old Samsung bluray player I paid $20 free shipping about 7 years ago from eBay, feeding a Samsung smart tv via HDMI. It is output from the TV via Toslink to a $4500 DAC ( upsampled to 24/192)and onwards by XLR to my Ayre ax7e amp. And yes it sounds good to my ears! |
