What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

Bruce Cockburn - Breakfast in New Orleans
Gotta love Rob Wasserman's bass☺

jtcf,

I know Rob played on Bruce's previous album, The Charity of Night, but I didn't think he played on Breakfast in New Orleans. Coming from another bassist, I always admired Rob's talent...RIP.

Tango in the Night .... Fleetwood Mac.

CD on a Sony Discman fed into my main rig. Don't knock these lil gems until you have tried one! Battery power, small chassis, sidesteps a lot of issues large mains power players suffer from.
Patience is not my middle name G. Lol.

I did find it at my LRS today but did not buy as it is on vhs, even I do not have one of those anymore!

I suppose I could use one of those services to transfer it to disc, not sure if it worth all that cost and trouble though.

G.

No I have not seen that film but I will do now for sure.

For now....
Feral Roots ... Rival Sons.

Tidal

Quite like these guys.....
Hello U. Well, I’m envious of course. Closest I’ll ever get to hearing Rory live is the concert film, Irish Tour ’74. Well worth watching if you haven’t. Audio is kinda disappointing on the DVD, however.

Also spent time with Blueprint yesterday.
First track, "Walk On Hot Coals", is also included in Irish Tour.

Eclipse ... Journey.

And how this music is getting to my speakers is a journey for sure!.

Old Samsung bluray player I paid $20 free shipping about 7 years ago from eBay, feeding a Samsung smart tv via HDMI. It is output from the TV via Toslink to a $4500 DAC ( upsampled to 24/192)and onwards by XLR to my Ayre ax7e amp.

And yes it sounds good to my ears!
Love Rory G.
Another sad waste of talent taken too soon.
Glad I caught him live  at Rock City, Nottingham back many years ago!
Rory Gallagher, "Tattoo".
A favorite.  His S/T studio-first after the demise of Taste is up there too.

Many strong tracks on Tattoo.
Always been partial to Track 8, A Million Miles Away:
