What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

More Joe Walsh, from "...the Player You Get"
Lots of great tracks on this one.  For me...

Track 3 - Wolf

Just hadn’t gotten to it yet @pjr801. Welcome to the thread.

I'm very happy with my vinyl version George but that's a good result for CD.
Amon Duul II - Dance Of The Lemmings. Great psychedelic German rock from 1970! Rare!

I recently purchased the Storyville, A Piece of your Soul CD. Solid effort by them.
I like " It’s A Good Day For The Blues". Also caught their show on Astin City Limits. Great vocals not to mention the legendary rhythem section.

I First saw them on Austin City Limits about 15 yrs ago. Fell in love with every aspect. I have all 3 of their album. All good. Good Day is fantastic. I wish they had recorded more

Joni Mitchell, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter

Really nice, and Jaco....Man....

Just bought the European CD set of Joni’s; The Studio Albums 1968-1979. Great purchase for this complete collection.
Roll with It ... Steve Winwood.

This Esoteric DV-50S sure has given my CD playback a new lease of life.
The DV-50S is really something, isn’t it @uberwaltz? I bought mine from Arthur Salvatore. Ralph Karsten says the DV-50S is no good, but he likes horn loudspeakers ;-) .
It's built like a tank, 48lb or so?
I run mine XLR out into my BAT VK300SE.
It sounds better that way than taking coax out to my DAC and back into the BAT.
Plus you can't play SACD over digital coax so......

Queens Greatest Hits.
I too run mine balanced out to the balanced ins on my pre. I halfway got it to be able to SACD's as well as CD's. Except for a PS Audio 200C amp, my heaviest piece of electronics!
I actually have a fair collection of DVD-A, a lot of Steve Wilson remasters, most of the King Crimson and Porcupine Tree catalogue. They are simply stunning played back through the DV-50S!

This morning....

Balance..... Van Hagar.

-Mulgrew Miller - piano
-Charnett Moffett - bass
-Billy Pierce - tenor & soprano saxes

Track 3 - Ancient Eyes (WR solo starts 50 sec. in)

Oscar Peterson-We Get Requests
some Crazy JVC High Rez thingamadoo...sounds awesome, like better than SACD!
Traffic Gold -
(2 discs chock full of great music and surprisingly good SQ).

Somewhat apropos given current events...

Had to make a break

I knew I couldn't fake it any longer

Everything just aches

Soon I'd have to wake up feeling stronger, feeling stronger

In my island of dreams, with impossible schemes

@nutty

Nice. That was a staple back in the mid 70's. I haven't listened to that in a while. I like "Paper Money" too
